I really wanted to love this product. I had my eye set on it for several months. Finally, for Christmas I got one. I was so excited. I immediately brewed my first cup and well the taste was flat and watery. So I decided to try different settings, coffees and even use multiple setting for one cup (but that gets expensive if you have to brew two pods for stronger coffee). Nothing worked. The coffee still tasted like I got it from the local gas station. I know the brands that they sell in pods and usually I love them. But I feel the quick brew really doesn't allow for the coffee to properly steep and develop flavor. I will be returning this system and instead get a nicer, regular coffee maker. I am really disappointed in this system and wished that a coffee maker that costs so much would produce a better coffee experience. Not good.
Pros: Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Watery taste, Expensive, Poor brew intensity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife loves this thing!

My wife loves the way she can enjoy a cup of coffee in just minutes after waking in the morning instead of waiting 20 minutes for the old coffee pot to heat up and brew the same ole same ole coffee blend. She loves the variety that she can get from anywhere including where she works; Bed Bath and Beyond.

My hubby bought me this for Christmas and the funny thing is he isn't a coffee drinker, but actually drank coffee from it before I did. He liked the Vanilla flavor. The cups that came with the maker are to strong for my taste. I am hoping this is MyK-Cup compatible!

Love Love Love this brewer!!! My fiance and I were given one for Christmas and we can't get enough of it! I work early in the morning, and he works second shift so for me to make a pot of coffee in the morning is wasteful. Also, I'm a french press lover so it's time consuming in the morning when I'm trying to get off to work. I LOVE how quick it makes my cup, and that you can program it to turn on in the morning so it can warm up the water ahead of time. The coffee tastes great too!!!

I was skeptical about the quality of the coffee that machine could make. I also was skeptical how hot the coffee would be. I had read a lot off reviews, some saying that this machine was great and some saying the opposite. I spent a good 2 months thinking if I should buy it or not, it was not cheap. Then Christmas arrive and decided to give a try. I could not be happier. Coffee is good, there are a variety of brands and types of coffee out there, and it is hot. I like dark black hot coffee and I can say that with this also is your favorite you will be not disappointed.

Enjoyment turned disappointment

Bought this coffeemaker just 2 months ago and always used distilled water and the additional water filter. It just started shorting the amount a couple days ago then now only makes noise like the water pump is not working then shuts off. Will try customer service, but seems like this is a common complaint here. Something must be wrong with quality control.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Accommodates All Cup Sizes, Fast, Easy to use
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Defective, Not durable

Makes an awesome Christmas present

I got this machine as a Christmas present yesterday. I started using it right away and have NOT stopped yet. I have sampled several types of coffee as well as the hot chocolate, hot apple cider and the tea and am equally impressed with each one. I love the simplicity of use for this machine and the fact that I can make one cup of coffee and it is FRESH every time. I normally make a pot of coffee and after two or three cups it is not fresh tasting any longer. The Keurig machine has me spoiled and I will have a difficult time drinking any other coffee machine coffees. The only thing I can think of that is not so great would be that it does not dispense anything more than 9.25 ounces at a time (I have a LARGE coffee cup). I would prefer it to have a button for 12 or more ounces so I can enjoy more great hot beverages. That is just me though.
