My only complaint is after about 9 months the water dispenser line froze. Turned on light, 24 hours problem solved!

Keeps falling apart...

I have had this unit for over 6 years and it has ran well. The problem is the plastic door slides that attach the sliding drawers to the interior wall of the fridge keep breaking. This will be the third one I have replaced in the span of a year.

One star because I can’t give negative stars. This Piece of you know what has been falling apart nearly since we got it. In about a year the magnets started coming out of the seals. The drawers slide like toilet paper on a hemorrhoid until the drawers break. Sure you can replace the drawers but they are higher than a giraffe’s you know what. This has been such a poorly crafted product I will probably never buy another GE product .

Water dispenser line freezes often

This refrigerator came with a home we bought last year. Overall it seems decent and does what you want a side-by-side refrigerator / freezer to do. However, the water line to the water dispenser on the front of the freezer door frequently freezes. It seems to happen every one to two months. To fix it I use a hair dryer to blow heat on the water line and a insulin syringe to connect to the water line and pump water through until the freeze breaks free. This works but it's a hassle, very annoying and would be enough to keep me from recommending or buying this model in the future.
