Lots of room, good value, good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge a month ago from a local appliance dealer (I will not buy from a big box store). It was one of a few choices in our price range. I wanted a side by side with a water and ice dispenser, fairly standard fridge by todays standards. So far it works great. I gave the quality a good rating because we've only had it a month and only time will tell the real quality of the product. So far it seems sturdy, nice and easy to clean. I love the interior design. The door shelves are solid and easy to place, move and clean. The fridge shelves are spill proof and slide out for easy cleaning, this is also a nice feature for looking at stuff in the back of the fridge. It also has three drawers in the fridge space, which I love. A small drawer for meats and cheeses and the standard two drawers at the bottom.
I updated from a 19 cu. ft. side by side to this 25.3 cu. ft. model and wow, what a difference in space. The freezer can fit so much stuff in it. I can fit a cookie sheet on the shelf, which I couldn't do before. I love the size of this fridge.
Another great feature is the fridge/freezer thermostat is on the ice maker display panel on the freezer door. With the touch of a button I can see what temperature my fridge and/or freezer are and adjust. I don't have to open the door and turn a knob. I love that!
I really have no complaints about this fridge. I've been looking for things wrong with it and so far have found nothing. In fact I find myself liking it more and more every day. The features and size are great. The appearance is nothing special, but it still looks nice. Overall I am happy with our purchase. The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because we have only had it a month.

Good product, once issues were fixed

This product has two big drawers for veggies and/or a sealed pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though the drawers are big, my old refridgerator seemed bigger........and....even though the water and ice devices in the door work well now....everyone I know that has features like this say they break down or leak after awhile....so....I hope mine don't.

This is a good product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned another GE side-By-Side for 10 years before buying this one. My other GE's defrost went bad. It would cost almost as much to repair as would to replace.
Besides the auto-defrost going bad, I hope this almost identical replacement lasts longer than 10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks so nice .. and it's quiet! I was so glad to be able to get the textured finish. Being a food safety nut I especially like the temp display features for both the frige and the freezer sections. Price was right and delivery was the best.

Smell the American Made Refrigerator

kicked the first ice out of the ice tray before I could finish cleaning up the floor from installing the ice maker line...nice small shelf above the icemaker... lots of storage...3 bins...smudge proof exterior..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this refrigerator a little over 2 months now. It took some getting used to, we had an Admiral for 23 years. It has performed admirably, cleaning is very easy. We find we drink more water now that it is filtered and we can get ice instantly. Love the ice maker! Here's hoping, with the proper maintenance, we own this one 23 years!
