Good Ole Reliability

I love GE products. With all of the off brands out there ( I have owned a few) offered at competitive prices my preference is GE..I expect a qualitityand performance for my money. The cheap knock-offs don't have the relaibilty and service live that one would expect. I expect my appliances to last more than 7 years and they do. I get really irritated when plastic parts break or come loose such as the dryer selection

Dryer not so great

I bought this dryer 2 years ago and although it dries nicely it has had the following problems: the light went out within less than a year & I couldn't find the replacement; the buzzer died within 6 months and now it won't start. I tried to find the parts on the web site and it seems to be circular in nature since the parts listing is no where to be found.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer was a gift and it has been amazing. It meets all my needs, (including ability to handle bed spreads/comforters), for my families laundry. Simple enough for my teenagers to use as well. I have been using this dryer for almost 4 years and have never had any problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dryer works well the only big issue we have is the lint catcher let’s so much lint down into the bottom of the dryer a better design would be great or a better seal on the dryer lint catch scares me because it would cause a fire
