I have had this dryer for 14 months and so far the belt had to be replaced and the fuse. Now it is out of warranty and the fuse just went again. I am very upset that I purchased this dryer. I recommend highly purchasing another dryer NOT this one!

Drying takes forever

I bought this dryer brand new in July 2015. After almost four months of use, I wish I had purchased a different brand. Normal sized loads regularly take over two and a half hours to dry. Very frustrated customer!

Simple and Dependable

My old dryer had finally started to die after 25 years. I wanted a new dryer but a simple one with the basic features, really did not need a high tech fancy one. This GE dryer is perfect. Its really cool how it determines the clothes are as dry or damp as I specify, no more baking or over drying clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this as a replacement, & mostly picked it because it matched the washer that we had bought a few months before. Has all the features I needed, and I like the lint trap inside the door, our former dryer had it on top with a pull out and I didn't like it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy duty dependable plain Jane dryer

I bought this dryer to replace an older model of the same brand dryer because I got the thing used and it lasted me 15 years! As a
massage therapist in practice for 20+ years I have had lots of linens to wash and dry daily on top of my personal laundry so I need a heavy duty dependable dryer such as this. The price could not be beat either since I got it on clearance. It was a no brainer purchase!

I replaced my older GE dryer with this model. Capacity is good and it works fine. My only complaint at this point is that the lint catcher does not fit tightly and I am concerned about the lint that escapes into tbe machine, even though I vacuum it frequently.
I would recommend this to a friend!
