Bought the Washer and Dryer for my 96 year old mother for her new apartment she has only used it for a week now and so far she loves it.

Great drying tons of airflow!

Great dryer! Fast and efficient. Just don't set anything on top of it, i.e. detergent/fabric softener, thin metal won't support them. Will hear a knocking noise if items are too heavy.

Very Disappointed

I have had my GE Dryer for less than 10 months and have had numerous service calls each time thinking this will be the last. Most all the major parts including the drum and heating panel has had to be replaced during the past 10 months I have owned my GE Dryer. Do not enjoy or feel comfortable with my GE purchase considering the numerous problems we have experienced, continue to feel my dryer may still be causing problems. Have had problems and service calls with my GE washer also purchases at the same time as my dryer. Very disappointed with both my GE Dryer and GE Washer purchase and having daily thoughts it may break down again. This is not worth taking a chance of ever buying another GE appliance. I am very thankful I purchased Service Agreements on both.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer drys better and takes less time than my old dryer. I like having several options for heat and the ability to have a timed dry. Only thing I am not fond of is the timer doesn't reset if I stop the dryer before it stops itself.

I bought this in November of last year and it has not failed to impress me. It dries clothing quickly and efficiently and I was amazed at how quiet it is.
