Has lost it's mind, goes in circles

If the unit would hold a good charge and the batteries would last longer andddd, it would not lose it's program as mine had done, it is a useful device. Didn't get any help from the service people. They just want to sell you a new one, looks like.

Loving it so far

Been using it daily since it came. Gathers lots of dog hair and dust. Love that it gets under the bed and other furniture. Have back issues and cannot use the regular vacuum anymore. Hubster will vacuum, but only once a month. With 2 dogs, that is not enough! I empty the bin and clean brushes after each room.
Pros: Back saver, Cleans Under Furniture, Hassle Free Operation, Pet Friendly
Cons: Frequent Maintenance

Horrible Allergies?

We have a very busy house hold. Husband owns and operates a heavy industrial construction company and I have returned to school for my Nursing degree. I had only been able to "clean" the house every 12 weeks (semester change). I also have severe allergies to dust,dander, molds, pollens, and trees. We live in the country where it is dusty and we are surrounded by fields and woods, we also have 6 house cats, so every 12 weeks I also had severe allergic symptoms from cleaning. After discussing this with classmates I was informed of the product "Roomba". I did much research and read many reviews before committing to such an investment. I finally decided to do it.I purchased the Roomba 530. It came with a complete set of extra brushes, brush cleaners, 2 mobile walls, dock, direct charge cord, regular dirt can and large dirt can, and of course the Roomba. I followed instructions and charged Roomba for 16 hours. The next day after school, I cleared the cat toys and small loose rugs from the floors. I pressed the "clean" button and away it went. It ran for about an hour and a half on our main level which is approx 1200 sq feet. The battery was still indicating a green light on the top of the unit when it was complete. So I decided to empty the can and clean the brushes. I could not believe how much stuff was in that can! A few hours later I took Roomba down stairs to run a 2000 sq feet area. It did this with no problem. Again I cleaned out the can and the brushes. I have gotten in the routine of clearing out the floors and starting it when I leave for school and I take 5 minutes every day to clean the can and brushes. To my benefit, I have not had any issues what so ever with my Roomba. My floors have been spotless since. Now when I "clean" I get more time to clean such as mopping, dusting, and bleaching. Stuff I usually had to wait 4-5 hours to do before because I spent SO much time sweeping and vacuuming. Not to mention :) I no longer have sneezing fits or sticky, itchy eyes. Cleaning seems much less of a chore and not so dreadful. In my family's world, time is money. I may have spent a pretty penny on my Roomba, but the time it has saved me is priceless. Go for it!

Perfect for Seniors!!

Twenty four hours reddy and willing. No weekly pay. No overtime. No Drastic supervision, No extra expense, No need to weight . I'm very happy, single senior seventy seven, always worried about the cleanliness and look of my self and surrounding. Now, I do my carpet some times two times a day it is an entertainment, It is bussy time for me.

The best Christmas present ever!

Alice is a great new addition to our family! She's been running pretty much nonstop since I got her in order to catch up on my lack of vacuuming in hopes that I would be receiving a Roomba for Christmas. I've had to empty the bin and clean the brushes quite often (every 20 minutes), but I know this has to do with the amount of dog/cat hair that was floating around here. Now that everything is thoroughly cleaned I've been emptying the bin much less frequently with no problems. Thanks iRobot!

I suggest more powerful models than 530 for a deeper cleaning and a longer lasting charge. It`s a very helpful product, anyway

My Wife, just loves Ruby! It has made her life so much easier! We have recommended the Roomba to everyone that we know. A message to the engineering team at iRobot; Voice commands would be a nice feature, carpet stain remover and scratch free bumper.
