The Gift of Time AND a Cleaner House!

I can set my Rooomba 530, Fivealive, to work and then do other things which gives me the gift of time! It goses from carpet to hardwood floor and back easily and does not get tangled up in the rug fring or electrical cords. It is simply wonderful cleaning kitty ltter, etc, from the cats' (I have 4 of them) room. I am amazed at the amount of stuff it picks up even when I think the room it is running in is clean. And I love to watch it dock. It's like an airplane taxying to the terminal.

Grandma Loves

My daughter and I purchase for my mom her grandma for Christmas 2007. She is 81 and has had both knees replaced. Vacuming was getting hard for her but refused to let us do for her. This is the answer. She just puts in in the room, pushes the button and sits down. She loves to watch it do all the work. Thanks for making her life easier and she still has her dignity.

Just got it as a Christmas present. Works better than I ever imagined it would. Regular vacuuming is hard especially with knee/back problems. Having "Rhoda" to get under furniture is like having a cleaning service. Wish IRobot would invent a stair cleaner. I think Roomba needs to get into corners more and it does bump hard into walls & objects. But, I'm extremely satisfied with my 530 series.

Excellent Machine

We purchased Rosario about a month ago. She is wonderful. My wife and I have 2 large labradors and 2 short hair cats. All shed terribly. Roomba works very effectively at keeping the floors clean. We have 100% hardwood on our first level where she is most impressive at cleaning. Our upstairs is carpeted and I will admit I was a bit disappointed with how poorly it cleaned but I hold the animal fur responsible for that. The debris bin is too small to accomodate all the shedding. The Dyson Animal is still the best solution for carpet cleaning in my book. We will be purchasing the Scooba soon.
