I have had a Rooma for at lesst 5 years and it is my only vacumb, I am going to upgrade to the newer one, [...] I have had to replace it twice on different ones, he one I ahve now has worked great and I would not be without it. I ever told my Daughter about the one for pets.

Not reliable, good customer service

My unit broke 3 times in one year. I got replacement parts and instructions. Finally, the company offered an exchange even past the warranty period. Good service, but breaks too often.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Hassle Free Operation
Cons: Can Get Stuck, Frequent Maintenance, Needs repair often

I recently got my Roomba as a birthday gift. It does a wonderful job on my hardwoods and carpeted floors! When my husband and I first used it, we followed it around like proud parents watching thier child take it's first steps! (With a toddler though you often wish for the days when they were still only crawling.) Not our Ronby. We were amazed how easily he transferred from hardwoods, tile, and carpet to going over rugs and cords. We are so happy with his performance. He has made our lives so much easier. With all I have to do, it is nice to know vacuuming is no longer one of them. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting one.

My IRobot is (was) awesome. I hate vacuuming with an upright so the dust-bunnies ususally accumulate. With my IRobot, I just press a button before I go to work and come home to a clean room! Unfortunately, I had an unacceptable number of problems too numerous to list. The service while under warranty was fantastic but now that it is over, Bobby just collects dust!

OMG. A co-worker recommended Alice and I must say my husband thought this was a crazy idea--nothing vacuums your house--he thought. Well he is now sold. Alice has become the newest and most favorite member of our family. Even the dog doesn't mind Alice--well only if Alice gets near Lady's food bowl. I vacuum everyday and when Alice came home, I let the vacuuming go for the day and for Alice to charge overnight. Having a dog (Beagle) you need to vacuum everyday and this would actually prove to my husband that Alice would become a great assest in our household. Way to go Alice. People even stated that Alice would not do black or dark carpets--Well my Alice did both black and navy blue carpets and cleaned them remarkably. Thanks Alice, I can accomplish double the work because you do half of it on your own. You have completely convinced my husband that this was money well worth the product.

Best Money Spent Last Year!

So nice to be able to "play" while "Rhonda The Roomba" does all of the work. We have a wonderful 12 year old Lab and she sheds like crazy,so it is fantastic to have extra help around the house. We show "Rhonda" off to all of our friends because she is truly an amazing purchase. If she went to Roomba heaven tomorrow we would purchase another the very same day- that is how much she has become a necessity in our home. Thank you, KB and RL

It's A Must Have

I bought the 532 Pet Series and the 530 Series, and I can't be more thrilled. My house has constant traffic from kids in the neighborhood, lots of dirt carried in, and a lab that sheds constantly. I bought it to eliminate the on-going battle with my kids to sweep and vac the floors weekly(wood,tile,carpet, and terrazo). I have been running it non-stop the past week, and still amazed with the level of deep cleaning and what it picks up. I have even swept after it, to see what it left behind(minimal). My house smells fabulous. I wish I could sell them door to door, like back in the day. Forget what anyone says about the noise, you can talk at a normal level, compare that to your current vac cleaner. My only concern is that I am so hooked, that I worry they will discontinue replacement parts or go out of business, and I will be left with running a traditional vac. You have got to get one, or two..
