battery life to short,getting stuck in small wires ,shut down no reason,missing many spots penetraiting same spots to many times no reason
Pros: Do not work on black carp
Cons: Loses Charge Quickly

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

I just received my Roomba and charged it over night per the instructions. Super-duper excited to use it. My old Roomba 400 was faithful for almost 10 years! My new Roomba was bought brand new, although refurbished. Pushed clean and away it went. Guess what?! It didn't clean anything! Brushes were not rotating. OK, iRobot - just purchased, brand new (refurbed by you), and doesn't work out of the box? Granted, I did not pay full price, but the amount I spent still wasn't "pocket change." Contacted customer service and they are shipping the part - in 7 to 10 days and I have to install it myself. Needless to say, very disappointed.
Pros: Covers Entire Room, Quiet
Cons: Brand New Broke
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ROOMBA NEEDS WORK

I USE MY ROOMBA FOR REGULAR HOUSEHOLD CLEANING AND FEELS IT DOES A GREAT JOB BUT THE WHEEL WITH BRUSH THAT DOES THE SIDESWEEPING KEEPS FALLING OFF AND THIS IS MY THIRD ROOMBA IN ONE YEAR. ALL THREE HAD STUPID THINGS GO WRONG SO WHEN THEY WORK THEY WORK GREAT BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ONE WITHOUT PROBLEMS. I JUST SPENT A YEAR BATTLING CANCER AND THIS INCONVENIENCE WAS NOT NEEDED.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Large Debris Bin, Pet Friendly
Cons: Brush falls off, Can Get Stuck, Does Not Clean Stairs, Frequent Maintenance, WHEEL THAT SIDESWEEPS KEG

Such an interesting concept. Unlike computers, it does make your life simpler.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Hassle Free Operation
Cons: Does Not Clean Stairs, Frequent Maintenance

I bought this product to introduce robotics to students in the classroom, then brought it home to use and my floors have never been so clean. Students like it and I love the extra time I have to spend with my family!
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Hassle Free Operation
Cons: Can Get Stuck, Does Not Clean Stairs, Noisy

I have a townhouse. I bought two Roomba, one for each floor. The fact I can activate it when I leave the house and return to a vacuumed floor/carpet is great! It isn't perfect, but the benefits outweigh the cons... which include: I think cleaning it is a hassle, and yes, it does get stuck under my furniture at times. I have just bought a third one for my daughter's Christmas present.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Long Run Time, Pet Friendly
Cons: Can Get Stuck, Frequent Maintenance

i turn it loose on my way out in morning- -closes doors in some rooms then dies under something--needs a clapper to find the thing when stuck to clean brushes use a sewing seam ripper i have 18" ponytail hair

the biggest problem is that pet hair getts into the gear box this causes the plastic bearings to overheat and that box is impossible to get you can't buy it and i robot wont warrenty it (i think i have figured out a inexpensive fix but right now i am so mad that i am not telling
