I have no complaints about Colette. I use her every day in one or more of my rooms. I would recommend her and have to others. I just plain love her. She frees me up so that I don't feel guilty about doing my hobbys in place of vacuuming. Love her, love her, love her.

A present from my son.I can't beleive caz's performance. Just push the button and my daily chore is done. If my house was on fire , I would grab CAZ first.

Best Money Ever Spent - Love It!!

We have had our Roomba for three years now, and when Herbie goes to vacuum heaven we will mourn his loss but replace him immediately. We have to replace the side sweeper and are now replacing the battery, as he is used so much that there isn't much charge left in the poor fella anymore. The iRobot website is useful and easy to order from. If you have a house where you work full time, have and vacuuming is a chore - spend the money, you will not regret it. Our house is hardwood and ceramic and occupied by two adults, two kids, two dogs and a fat cat - which equates to alot of dust and dirt. Amazing and gross what gets under the beds in a week. My cat was initially afraid, but he doesn't move anymore, Herbie bounces around him. The unit is easy to use, portable, easy to clean and very user friendly. Would and have recommended to friends and family.

Called office last June, was told out of office till June-that was last year. Be prepared to replace machine on a regular basis. Customers service the WORST!!

My 530 Experiance

Roomba 530: It Was Good While It Lasted. Had A Year Life Expectancy In Personal Vacation Home Use. Meaning Actually Ran Maybe 5 Hours A Day For 30 Days Out Of a Year. It Started Going In Circles And Making Dinging Sound. Talked To Tech & Tried Their Advise To Fix But It Didnt Work. Complained To Manufacturer & They Agreed To Send New Unit. Got A Discontinued Cheeper (510 Never Heard Of It) Refurbished Unit. Whats Up With That? Figured They Would At Least Send Same Or Equal Model. For The Amount Of Money Spent These Units Should Last Longer. Guess Beggers Cant Be Choosers! On The Plus Side It Did Free Up Time To Persue Other Ventures. Did A Good Job While It Lasted. Having Thoughts Of Purchasing More Expensive Unit, Maybe It Will Have Longer Life? Although They Say "More Is Not Always Best." Hmm, What To Do? Oh, One Of The Rooms Floor Has A Slight Encline To One Side, You Guessed It, The Unit Would Stay On That Side Of The Room. After All That, Would I purchase Another? Ya, What The Heck Spend The Kids Inheritance Before The Government Takes It. Free Time Is Too Precious.

I love the concept...so much that I have gone through 3 in less than 5 years. The parts are expensive and the batterie now does not seem to hold it's charge. It's expensive to replace. So I am done....I am going to buy a stick vacume from Shark....kind of sad, but just to expensive to maintain.

Great idea but not practical

I spent a lot of money on the Roomba 530. If it's going to lose charge and I have to replace the battery every year, then it's not worth it. The rechargeable battery only means rechargeable for up to 1 year.

Home Base Charging Station is Useless

I can't use the base station because roomba pushes it around and gets caught in its cord when cleaning around it. I charge manually. I time how long it is cleaning a room and stop it manually because it doesn't stop by itself when room is "clean". It seemed to do a good job cleaning Pergo flooring and Berber carpet. Easy to clean, reasonably quiet. I prefer it to running a conventional vacuum. Will run conventional vacuum to get deep down dirt that requires strong vacuum and agitation to get out. I wish iRobot would either redesign the base station and/or fix roomba software to stop when room is clean and announce it is done. If it can go to charging station when room is clean the above is possible.

Cons: Can Get Stuck, Drags base station cord, Gets stuck on furniture, Pushes home base around
