Roomba Is Not Worth The Price

This product seemed like a great thing to try, but after using 2 of them for a couple of years, they're not worth what they cost. Batteries need replaced at least once a year, and the cost of the replacement batteries alone is ridiculous. The Roombas clean ok, but they constantly need the bins emptied, or get something stuck in the brushes, or just quit working for various reasons and need repaired. Once the short warranty has expired, repairs become very costly. I'm very disappointed in the Roombas, and was looking forward to using a time-saving device. But they certainly haven't proven to be that in any way.
Pros: Cleans Effectively
Cons: Can Get Stuck, Frequent Maintenance, Loses Charge Quickly, Noisy

it's just work i am happy with it want to trade it in for a new one i have old model 4230 the scheduler roomba look get one i am looking to get a new one i thank the one i have is 5 to 6 yr old.....
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Hassle Free Operation, It just works and works, Large Debris Bin, Long Run Time, Pet Friendly
Cons: Had one repair love it

Died very soon - not worth the expense

Unfortunately the Robot died in less than 12 months iRobot wanted to "sell" us another one for $100 and did not want to fix it for free. Shame! We used Discovery series for 4 years and all flawless. 530 is more expensive but less quality. Done with iRobot for good!

3 years old and one of my best friends i start it and forget it it goes home for charging and lets me know when to empty it i would like to buy the kitchen floor cleaner if it works as good as charlie

Don't buy this product. The [$] isn't worth it. My robot lasted six months before the battery started running out too soon. The robot won't dock and it lasts only 15 minutes now, and it's getting worse. I emailed customer service, and they simply delay their response, and send multiple emails, skirting the issue.I called customer service, and they asked me the SAME information I gave them in the email, and avoided the issue once again.If you want to waste your money, and buy a [$] vacuum twice a year, go for it!!!!

I bought this robot with hesitation. I didn't see how it could possibly do as good at cleaning as the regular vacuum. Wow, I am so impressed. My wife didn't like it at first (a little jealous) but now she has taken to it. In fact, I like it so much I bought a Looj, Dirt Dog, and Scuba. It does effectively clean carpet, and rugs. It's not the best on hard floors though. I am a little worried about the battery after reading everyone else's posts but no problems with it yet. I wish I would have spent a little more money and bought one that could utilize the light houses

Awesome vacuum

We received the vacuum as a present about a year ago. I was really skeptical at first. I thought there was no way that this vacuum would work as well as a standard vacuum. I was wrong. The vacuum blows away conventional vacuums. It gets under your bed, under tables etc. It really cleans the house better than I could have ever thought. We have a 28 year old son. We kid him and say that this is the good kid. Also the technical service provided by iRobot is unbelievable. They really stand behind their products.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Lightweight, Long Power Cord, Powerful/Good Suction

She absolutely cleans around chair legs on hard wood floors - no more dust collection anywhere because she will find it. Even in my bathrooms she picks up loose hair......she is wonderful. My grown children are each getting one for this years Christmas gifts.
