I love it, almost perfect

I am a renter and when I moved in of course I rented the industrial vacuum to originally clean the carpet, well immediatley after I shampooed and vacuumed and allowed it to dry I used my roomba and was amazed at how much the industrial vac missed. Only set back this model has that I see is unable to set up a schedule so I manually have to tell it to clean when I get in from school but it still beats having to vacuum my self and the roomba does an outstanding job. My carpet is always "fluffy" and my entrace and kitchen free of dirt and debris. I like the product so much I bought the 580 and use both of them but the 580 is capable of cleaning everyday without me having to do a thing. Especially great for cleaning before and after parties.

Too good to be true

I brought home the Roomba 530 today. I had purchased an earlier model for my mother a few years ago. She loves hers, but I won't tell her that the 500 series is even better. It cleaned a 27X15 room nicely considering we share this home with a number of pets. We own a Dyson for deep cleaning. The Roomba appears to be almost efficient as the big, heavy Dyson when it comes to removing pet hair from short pile carpeting. Thank you for this product.

iRobot Roomba 535

I have had my iRobot Roomba 535 since Sept 20, 2007. It is something I have always wanted but thought I could not afford. I am a single male 55+ and regular vacuuming is a pain and hurts my knees and back, being over 6'5" tall. The Roomba takes over this task and does a tremendous job of cleaning my home. Basically it requires no assistance and a child could operate. The large debris bin only requires dumping ever now and then at most after the first initial cleaning of your home. Never think your home floors are clean, because the Roomba will show you that it is not after the first use around your home. It is amazing and smarter than the average person when it goes to work. One button operation, sit down and let it go and do the work. I have also noticed the dust level in my house has decreased. Buy you one and let it do this time consuming chore for you, wish I had sooner. The 500 series is super duper. I cannot brag enough on it, so I will stop.

I got this on October 1, on my birthday. It is a great vacuum, and it also cleans in spots I cannot reach. It is easy to use and maintenance is easy (even my 9 year old can clean its brushes!)The virtual walls are very useful and handy. The Dirt Detect feature is very nifty and effective. The voice demonstraition is also very helpful and creative.IRobot,keep up the good work!

Just got my Roomba 535 on Friday and I have had so much fun with it. I couldn't believe how easly it cleaned up not only kitty litter, but both my Alstraian Shepards hair and my long haired white cat hair up. I ran my Roomba in my carpeted living room and then went back with my regular vacuum cleaner and I was surprised how little was picked up by my vacuum. I just have one little issue it sometime can tell that there is a step going down into another room and sometimes falls over it, but once I get myself some C size batterys I wont have to worry about that anymore. Love it, Love it!!!!!

This robot is AWSOME!!!! IT CLEANS MY ENTIRE FLOOR!!! It has great suction, cleans deep into carpet, AND it tells me when for example when its brushes need to be cleaned!!! Yes I would really, really recommend this to a friend!! In fact I already have and they love it to. I am so glad that iRobot invented Roomba!!

BEST invention ever!!

I was on the verge of hiring a cleaning service because maintaining my 4BR house was getting to be too much for me (I am a stay at home mom of 3 little ones). I decided to purchase a Roomba 535 instead, and found that this was the BEST PURCHASE ever! My daughters are fascinated by it, my skeptical husband thinks it's the greatest, and I can spend time playing with the girls instead. It vacumms effectively, especially underneath the beds, couches and even the changing table. My carpets are plush, clean and look great all the time. The vacumn can clean 3-4 rooms on one charge, then can be recharged in about 3 hours. I love the virtual wall/lighthouse feature, which helps me 'direct' my roomba from room to room. I have convinced 3 of my close friends/family members to buy one, and show it off to everyone who visits. I have received the go-ahead to buy the floor mopping scoomba, and have great expectations for how fabulous my kitchen floor will finally look.[...]

I like the Roomba it does a good job around the house. I just wish it is less noisy and more durable. I had to replace the side brushes already because they broke. I have had the Roomba for just a month. I like it because it picks up a lot of dirt, and pet hair. It is amazing how much it picks up in the bin. It is nice how it goes back to it's dock to re-charge. However, it looks like it might be too delicate for the job it does. I hope I do not have to buy a lot of replacement parts.
