Nice enough at first but fails dangerously now

We used this kettle for a couple years and it worked great. In the last 6 months the thing does not shut off and the lid pops open while boiling. Kind of dangerous with a toddler around. Wouldn’t buy this brand again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lid pops open and does not stop boiling

Worked for awhile, but now the lid pops open before it's finished and the thing won't turn itself off. Kind of dangerous with a toddler around so we are looking at something new. Wish it had a longer warranty as it was expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Soft-open lid hinge broke

I love this kettle and it's seen some heavy use. After a couple years, some plastic from the hinge fell out but it kept trucking along. It's now been around 4 years, and the soft-open lid has stopped opening, sadly.

Sadly Disappointed

I loved my Kettle but I only had it for a short time and the lid has broken! These products are way too expensive to have so many issues. I purchased the kettle because I love the quality but now I'm not sure if these products can stand the test of time. Sadly disappointed.

I loved the look of this glass kettle, and the water boiled quickly. However, after about 3 weeks, the on/off switch would not go on, it was broken :-( I returned the item for a refund.

I had this kettle for more than 7 yrs now. It works flawlessly and is quite powerful. I am surprised to see many negative reviews here.

Do not get this kettle

I received this kettle as a gift from my mother in 2019. My previous kettle, different maker, had lasted over 7 years of daily use. This kettle is now falling apart. The panel covering the bottom portion that houses the electrical wires became unscrewed, leaving the contents exposed. It appears to be a poor design, overall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
