Do NOT purchase

This kettle works fine for the first few times and then the shut off switch stops working so it boils continuously. Then the kettle will just stop working all together. Do not waste your money. Wasteful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glass Cracked

Bought this a couple years ago and use this minimally and it just cracked down the side while boiling water. Could have been super dangerous if children were nearby with boiling water going everywhere.
I got a new one as a replacement because my last one managed to chip (dangerous!!), which was great from this company (replacement). However, this new one steams up and doesn’t dry, weirdly... I am happy for the replacement though :) so thanks Breville for accommodating me.

Great kettle but the lid really fails

Same as many other reviewers, I love the kettle and it’s very good looking but the lid failed on us after less than 2 years use, the push down pop up lid function stopped working and the lid needs to be manually pryed open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lid Stuck

It has worked great for a couple of years but now the lid won't open. We have tried everything. Not finding instructions on lid removal or replacement. If anyone has been able to fix this problem, would love to hear how. Thanks.

Well elegantly designed. Refreshing to water bubbles forming and forming into steam. Spout seems to be little small but is functional
I would recommend this to a friend!

Boiling rapidly

I bought this glass kettle 2 years ago and was very happy with it. Then one day the lid got stuck and wouldn’t open. Looks like a lot of people had the same problem on this kettle.
