This thing is great. We can make lots of flavors quickly, freeze for 1 hour, and you got ice cream. With the ingredients we want and no preservatives.

Yes!! It is wonderful and so easy to use. It took about three tries to get the recipe just right; but now I make the perfect "replacement" gelato, in my favorite flavor. Retailers beware. If you don't stock your customer's favorites, they will find they don't need you.

Love that I don't have to keep a container in my freezer

I bought this machine because I have a small freezer and I didn't want to keep an ice cream container in there all the time in the event that I want to make ice cream. So I just turn on the pre-cool setting while I prep my ingredients together and its great!
I do find that sometimes after I add mix-ins, the machine seems to work slower and sometimes will even completely stop churning even though its not at the desired ice cream setting. It seems like it is just working too hard and then it just gives up. Given the price of the unit, its a bit disappointing. But it does work great when I make ice cream without any mix-ins.
Love the ice cream truck sounds at the end, too!

Our unit just did not get the ice cream cool enough so it was soupy. I have loved all my other Breville products so was surprised this one did not make great ice cream.

Efficient & straightforward; only suggestions are to have the “alarm” notification for adding ingredients to the mix be louder & longer in duration; also, the recipe booklet is pretty vague with instructions in certain areas.
