Inner bowl is poor quality

I love my Breville rice cooker. But the inner bowl is such poor quality. The Teflon coating chips and peels off into the food.
I have had two replacement bowls and they both do the same thing.

LOVE this! BUT...the inner pot teflon has worn off...

i wish this issue could be corrected
then it would easily be 5 stars
it's disappointing since my kitchen is full of Breville products, large and small
and i'd like to buy this for my parents, but hesitate due to the inner pot peeling...

The Workhorse of My Kitchen

I use this appliance so much, it seldom if ever leaves my countertop. There’s so much to love about it!!!! I love the fact that I can make large batches of taco meat, stews, pot roast, and soups without dirtying multiple pots and pans. There’s nothing this bad boy can’t handle! I actually have three of the inserts since I use it so much! I tell everyone about my love for the Breville Risotto Plus; I’m probably due a commission by now!!! Hands down this is the best purchase I’ve made!!!

Best Birthday Gift

I have used this appliance for 6-7 years now, and it still works great! The individual parts all hold up well to heavy use. Haven't had a problem with the bowl chipping like others describe. It is durable and consistent in the way it cooks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Rice and Risotto

Being Asian, Latin and American rice is a big deal. Our old rice cooker took 30+ minutes to make rice. This one is closer to 10 minutes. I love how it make rice. I haven't even tried the risotto or other. I'm sold just on the rice,

RISOTTO PLUS RICE COOKER

I was given this as a gift and after not using very often is no longer working. Lights go on for maybe 3 minutes and then shuts off completely. Unit doesn't even heat. So frustrated as of course I need it for a family get together during the holidays!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AMAZING BREVILLE!

This nifty little kitchen tool far exceeds making the perfect Risotto / Rice. I use my Risotto Plus for making seriously GOOD soup. You cannot find a better multi-functional kitchen counter appliance that professes to prepare perfect Risotto AND delivers on that promise - but ALSO perfectly simmers delicate soups.

Seems good quality but is not

I bought the risotto plus, replacing the an Lester rice maker I had for 18 years, thinking that the Breville it was going to last around the same time but not even a year and a few months and it stops working, I have to finish cooking the rice or whatever is in the pot in the stove. A little disappointed since I found that everything was done so quick but now is just a matter of luck if it works.
