I am tech challenged. This is the first time I have made it through initial set up without calling a tech support group. So far I would say Epson has done everything right. Simple and straight forward is exactly what I needed, not to mention quality prints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's pretty good. Took me a while to figure out why the paper wasn't loaded properly. Just a warning , if your router doesn't have a wps button buy the printer cable. Besides that the printer isn't bad at all

Software Issue

I installed the driver through the disk provided. Somehow an error message "EPSON Status 3 Monitor stopped working" is popping up whenever I try to open the software.

I have a home office set up for my design consulting practice using both a laser jet and color photo-smart printers. I bought the NX230 as a portable unit to use with my laptop when I visit clients. I just pop it into a rolling case with the laptop, use a USB cable connection and I can print out any documents, black and white or color, for that project. I don't have to worry if the location has wireless capability or not. Very handy, has already paid for itself, clients are really impressed that I am so well prepared.

I have an I-Pad and was trying to downloaad the information from your Epson Stylus NX230. I found it very difficult to get this done. In fact I gave up after an hour or two, I am going to take the printer and I-Pad to my office and see if our IT guys can figure it out.. there was not enough information on how the wireless connection should be done. I do not think I would recommend this printer to anyone now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer is great for the price. After installed find out it just not supoort Air Print so return it and get the new one that support AirPrint - XP200.
If you need the AirPrint like me. Go to Apple site check which model that support AirPrint before you buy it.
