Clear text and photos

Printer and copier produces very clear photos and documents. tt does use a lot of ink even with low to moderate use. It is difficult to read the ink cartridge changing directions printed in black inside the machine.

Wastes Ink
on February 26, 2013

Complicated to get started. If it has a problem its usually a easy fix made complicated by the company. Ink doesn't last very long, Also when you run out of ink you have to replace ALL the cartridges, even if you only need to use one color!

The printer purchased (and I believe) registered in mid August 2012 was what we sought for personal use. It copied, printed well in both color and b/w.
It ran out of ink quite quickly, purchased more and it worked again well. BUT now have replaced all cartridges, yet the ink light remains on. Each time mchine marked a different cartridge, thus replace all NEW and machine neither prints or copies. Paid little for the NX230 but even with limited use the cost of Epson factory cartridges without being able to print/copy is unreasonable. Long time Epson supporter, but not now.

Constanly Messing Up

This printer is constantly messing up. I buy ink cartridges from the store and they work for a week or so and then the printer wont recognize them. It is an extremely slow printer.

Ink Cartridges are Cheap but Difficult to Install
on June 14, 2014
Posted by: Karen
I bought this printer a couple of years ago. The driving factor was the cheap ink cartridges. Well you pay for them in the difficulty that it takes to install them if you don't replace them as soon as they go low. If you wait, it is almost impossible to try and replace them. It seems to take forever! Next time I will spend the additional money. My time is valuable.
