Misleading

Got this home and even for an experienced user, the (lack of) instructions caused hours of online research time. After finally getting the correct drivers loaded from the web and the firmware updated from Epson online, we found a link off of a support page that said it DOES NOT SUPPORT AIRPRINT! So all you iPad users out there, forget it. And no app really supplies an adequate work around.
Total waste.
Also, beware.... ink cartridges are cheaper than my older epson cx6600, but they are almost half the size. Can't find fluid oz info anywhere. Looks like a rip off.

A NO-GO for me

The setup for this printer on the iMac was a bit confusing, and the download provided by Epson wouldn't install. I ended up just plugging the printer into the computer and Mac took care of the rest...but...I could NOT get this printer to connect to my wireless router. It worked great wired, but the point of it was to be able to access it from my Mac Air and iPhone. I gave up and purchased the NX430 instead. The NX430 is working as promised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking for ink for my other printer & the price of ink was the same as this printer. I also had just bought a new computer desk & the other printer was large & it wasn't wireless. It was a nobrainer to buy this instead of the ink! It was very easy to set ~ up, And It works great with my desktop & I was able to use my USB cable from old printer to connect to the desktop. (Printer does not come with one) I tried a test print from my laptop & my iphone 4s & had no problems! Ink seems to be lasting, And I love the scanning feature which is easier than my old printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

replaced my cx6400

i loved my old epson printer and nearly cried when the jets got too clogged to work anymore.
this one is the one we chose to replace prefers the individual ink containers. this is smaller and more compact. i chose it over the other one based on the in store stock of spare ink cartridges.

I AM SO HAPPY THAT I HAD PURCHASED MY EPSON 3-IN-1 PRINTER AND GLAD TO SEE THAT IT IS WIRELESS, ALTHOUGH I DID HAVE PROBLEMS INSTALLING BUT BESIDES THAT I AM HAPPY AND EXCITED. IT PRINTS VERY CLEARLY AND SCANS AND COPIES, I AM LIKE WOW!!! :)

Not for Macs!

I gave it 2 stars because it works only with my PC, not my Mac.
This is a good laser printer. The duplex printing is pain; it requires pulling out the paper and inserting it back in the paper tray, but I can live with that.
