Installs very easy with windows 8, not so easy with windows 7.

I purchased the NX-230 and quickly started printing ,copying and scanning Within 15 minutes I was a pro! the fine detail and colors are remarkable!..The price was a major influence on my decision to purchase it..I recommend this model for those who need a quality multi -function unit . It definitely met my needs and exceeded my expectations!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just purchase this copier not even a month ago and tried installing the software but had problems having the printer to work. I bought a USB cable to see if maybe the one I had was not the proper one but this was not the problem.
Long story short I bought several USB cables thinking it was the cable and now I found out its the printer connector that is not working so I have to take it back. So I still don't know if this is a good product.

Waist of money

I have had this since my birthday. It worked great for a week and then it quit. It was a waist of money!

You get what you pay for

This is not a great printer, but since I paid a very low range price, I didn't expect much.
On the plus side: nice design, very compact, good basic functions, easy to use.
On the minus side:
- I had to do a lot of playing around with different drivers to get it to work.
- The print quality is lousy. The colour is not even close to accurate, and if you're printing black only text, it is shaky and pixelated, no matter what quality you choose.
- Scan quality is mediocre.

I would only recommend this printer to someone who is printing documents for their own use, such as homework notes. If you need to print CVs, presentations or anything you need to send off to somewhere important, spend a little more and get a better quality printer.

I was informed that I could use this printer with my IPAD 2. I found out later that I was not able to.

NX230 doesn't work with iPad

Doesn"t work with an iPad! It is WIFi capable but not an AirPrint-enabled printer, which is required for Apple's iPad.
