Ink Change Issues

When I got my Epson Stylus NX230 printer in the summer of 2012, I had difficulty getting it to connect to my Mac. Once I finally went out and bought a cord to connect it since the WIFI never worked, it started working better. Then came time to change the ink cartridges, so I did. And when everything was change out, the printer didn't recognize or kept claiming I had the wrong ink, but I didn't. After I kept trying to get it to work and bought ink 2 or 3 times and got the same results, I had no choice but to quit using the printer. It refused to recognize the ink cartridges multiple times no matter what and I got fed up. I have not used it ever since and I only got to use it for about a month or two before I needed to get the ink changed and started having trouble with the ink. The printer worked fine once I got a cord but not with WIFI or the new ink change even though it was the right ink. I'm not sure why this kept happening or even happen at all and I wouldn't really recommend others to use it due to the problems I had with it.

Sorry I bought this printer

This printer has been nothing but trouble since the day I bought it. It has used so much ink and every time I have replaced the ink cartridges the printer still says it is out of ink. When I have completed the simple instructions on how to test whether ink cartridges are correctly installed it tells me I am now out of ink...really??? They are brand new cartridges. I will never buy another Epson product again.

I'm giving it two stars only because it took a couple of years for this printer to stop working. And now it has. Even with fresh and full ink cartridges in place, the printer claims the magenta is empty and refuses to print. Of course, it's refusing to print the homework my daughter is supposed to turn in tomorrow. So I'm off to Kinko's in the middle of the night. Hopefully I won't wake up the neighbors when I come home and smash this worthless lump of plastic in the back yard.

I have downloaded the installation and I have the manual but we can not get it to connect to any of the wireless computers in the house which is no good. PLEASE HELP US

It would be a good printer...if I could get it to print. My paper goes 1/2 way down, then it stops and all that happens is, the printer just sits there and whirrrrrs. Any advice?

I love this printer, it does everything you ask of it. You can connect to wifi and your iphone or ipad. It will show you the ink levels and prints super fast and clean crisp lines. Amazing, finally a printer I like.

i would honestly have to say that this printer for the price is well worth it i have always used epson printers and this one is just at the same quality as before. easy install made life alot easier. the only thing is it doesnt come with the USB so if this printer is your first make sure to include that with your purchase overall great design compact but very efficent great job epson!!!!
