Easy to install but false advertisment

I bought this printer because 3 different times on the box it said it was compatible with iphone, ipod and, ipad. When I got it home and got it all sat up my ipad and phone kept saying no airprint printer found I looked on the website for help tried different things it said to do and no luck. Finally I got on apples website and on their they have a list of the printers that worked with airprint and this was not one of them. The print did not say that on the box or in the instructions before I started setting it up. So know I'm stuck with a printer that only works with one item I bought it for. They have and iprinter app that you download I have yet to figure out how to use it for what i wanted to use it printer for. Besides that on my windows product it was easy install and easy to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

changing an ink cartridge shouldn't be so hard

this is a simple and good printer, does all the good stuff and set up WAS very easy. however, i have had to replace black ink twice already (not a whole lotta prints on a single cartridge) and both times i've needed a doctorate and fourteen searches to figure it out. even if i CAN find the double-secret coded steps, they didn't actually cause the sled to come to where i could change the offending empty cartridge. something to think about in the next simplify-simplify-simplify product development meeting

Best bang for the bucks.

East install
The ink came with it, and I bought refills as I have been told, printers that comes with ink are not as long lasting as fresh cartridges. The price for the extra ink cost more tan I paid for the printer with ink.

Epson is a great value and a great space saver. I love the sleek design. However, I was surprised at the length of time it took to setup and I'm disappointed that a quarter of my ink was used after a test drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Epson NX230 does perform quite well. One function that I recommend that you do is to turn on your printer early especially if you know that you are going to print due to the two minutes plus you’ll wait before the wireless feature is activated. The biggest dilemma we had is activating the program on a non-cd/dvd thin line Acer computer. We did have a computer printer cord and it actually down-loaded all the new drivers. Still had to utilize another computer to download the software, supplied. The online help from Epson’s website was not helpful in resolving this issue.

Paper Jam caused fatal error

The product worked fine for first 45 days, then a paper jam caused a fatal error requiring a replacement of the entire unit. I now have to wait 7-10 business days for a unit and put TWICE as much money on hold than I paid for the original printer just to get the replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
