Solid Plasma TV

First time with a smart TV. Don't really need or use all apps. Had to have another plasma. Wish they made it in a 55" model. I would get the 60" model if I could do it over again. The 50" is not that much different than the 42" I had before.
Great picture. Don't really like having to constantly find the right picture size option for different programs. Some programs never display quite true to size, dimensionally.
Would buy another LG in an instant.

After owning this Plasma for over a month and getting a "feel" for it I would definitely recommend it. For the record I will confess to having a nicely suited living room for a Plasma with virtually no direct sunlight at any time on the screen.
If I could change anything it would be to have the "Magic Remote" come with the TV. The remote provided is less than satisfactory.

Excellent picture quality

This is an excellent TV once you dial it in to your liking. If has an extensive array of fine tuning capabilities. The sound features are very good. The only issue I have is the limited Wi Fi distance. You need to be fairly close to the Modem to connect to the internet. Beside this issue I have had no complaints. I like it much better than LED if you can control daylight in your room. I am pleased with my purchase.

A great big screen

This makes number 4 for me know. I bought this one for the master bedroom and could not be happier. My girlfriend thought it was going to be way too big for the room, since we were replacing a 26". To her surprise she loved more then I do. LG is the only appliance or electronic I will probably ever buy. Thir sound systems are just as good.

What an amazing television. From packaging to setup everything about this unit was great. All of the instructions were clear and concise. The picture quality and color is fantastic. The features on this unit will amaze you and what a great value for such great quality. An entertainment home run as far as I am concerned!!!! I would buy another one tomorrow if this one quit.

ABL too aggressive

I wish LG would let you turn off ABL. when watching anything with a bright or mostly white screen, the tv constantly brightens/dims. Watching the Penn State football game (they wore their all white jerseys) when the camera would zoom in on a player, the ABL would keep kicking on and makes for a very annoying experience. Other co's let you turn ABL off but not LG. this tv would be perfect in every other aspect except for the annoying ABL. If I want to spend more on my electric bill let that be my choice by turning off the ABL. tv is going back.
Pros: abl annoying
