Everything I expect from a plasma

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned this for about a year and am very pleased. We have in a windowless viewing room, so the propensity for glare (of all TVs) is minimal. The audio is extremely good (not inclined to get a soundbar, at least).

I recently purchased a Samsung plasma but had to return it since it had judder issues. It was a fine tv, great blacks, color and depth etc but it had no motion smooting software.
replaced it with this LG and what a difference. This has TruMotion and works great. not everyone is bothered by judder but if you are, this set is a blessing.

The blacks are slightly less deep compared to the samsung but still way better than LCD. was told this tv needs a few days to settle in and the picture will keep on getting better but so far pleased on day one. No bad pixels, no buzzing, great picture.

The plasma picture is like going to the movies!

I have heard for years that plasma TVs have a superior picture. And when I went to look for a HDTV, I felt I would have been just as satisfied with a LCD TV, since that's what my friends have and I really like them. The price for this 60" plasma was something I could not refuse, and once it was in my home, I could see why people who own plasma's rave about the picture quality. You do need a room free of glare sources to really enjoy it, but I had just moved into such a place, so it was perfect. Also, it is capable of receiving my home wireless network so I can use my ROKU with it and also receive Amazon Prime and other sources. I'm probably going to mount it on the wall eventually.

The picture is great. Has Amazon Prime which was a must for me. Smartshare allows you to control/watch videos, view pictures on the TV once you get it setup from your computer. If you use the audio return channel you can pipe the sound to your home theater system and get great sound, too.

Greetings, with a smile I write this review, My Wife And I Had A Huge Family Reunion Party Approaching in May, So the whole month of March we shopped around to up-grade our Television We owned a 40" LG but wanted something a lot bigger and more impressive, after doing my home work I knew I had to Have, No less than 60" inches and it had to be a 'SMART T.V.' So I Could Access The Internet. Nobody But Nobody Could Match The Price of The 60" inch LG with Magic Remote We Purchased, Having Installed It With Surround A Sound, I Have To Say My Whole Family Is Overjoyed. My Son Has To Play His Video Games On It, I Have To Watch My Movies And Golden State Warriors Games On it, My Wife Has To Watch Her Shows, so now I Need 2 more! Thank You For A Great Product, The Quality Is Second To None And The Price Is Everyman Affordable, That's A Winning Combination And We Show And Tell Everyone LG Is the only way to go if you want Value for your hard earned Dollar. I love this TV! I was immediately impressed with the resolution,,,but thrilled when 1 week later a notice of an upgrade displayed on the screen, The new software download enhanced the resolution even more. Accessing Netflix, the internet, You Tube, etc is so simple,I rarely go to my computer. Thank you LG for thinking like a consumer!

Just mounted this tv on my wall and what a gem. I bought this plasma at a unbelievable price and ended up with an unbelievable picture. I love everything about this tv. Oh, its a smart tv as well!!!
