brought mine in 2016 and still going strong. picture still as sharp as the day i brought it home. i was hesitant about buying a plasma tv but soooo glad i did!!

This plasma blows away LED/LCD

The value for the quality and excellent picture is great. Was concerned about all the reviews about the end of Plasma, but the picture rivals the new 4K led tv's that cost thousands more.
It does suffer from typical screen light reflection, but if kept in a controlled room it is perfect.
The best picture and sound along with being a 2014 with built in wifi and smarts for the buck!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Excellent purchase

This was an excellent purchase. The documentation leaves much to be desired however. The colors are vivid and bright with deep colors. I had to adjust the colors when watching Pacific Rim. It was way to deep and bright. I had to send an email to find out if it was 3D TV. 1 person told me yes, and 1 told me no. The pictures seem to pop out at you, which led me to ask. I am still unsure on this. The wireless function was easy to set up. I did not need anything extra for that. It comes with some free trials, and when adding my USB drive of movies, it played every one of them without any issues. It makes my PS4 games look great, sharp, crisp, and awesome. Any and every football game looks so beautiful. I saw small patches of dirt and individual clumps of grass. Truly an impressive set. The weight is also well balanced. It is a 2 man lift though, but for the size of the set, it is very easy with 2 people. The stand that it sits on seems wobbly, but it is still holding the set with no issues after a month.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I really appreciate LG still sticking with building Plasma's as many companies have ditched this technology. You can't beat the bang for the buck of this TV.

Great picture, Great value

This is the best TV I have ever owned, hands down. Large screen is great for movies, excellent picture, blackest blacks, accurate colors. It's a smart TV if you don't have Apple or some other service to access the internet. Audio is average, but that's why they make sound bars. Plasma rocks.

Great TV but weak WIFI reception

I had to move my wireless router within 12 feet of the TV and upgrade speed with my ISP but still could only achieve 720p and still had stability problems. My other devices (PS4, IPad, iPhone) work much better in my apartment. I gave up on WIFI and purchased a 14 foot LAN cable. Now everything is fine.
