Excellent Product

In the early stages of having this ear-piece, I did have some difficulty in keeping it close to my face. However, the same day I was due to return it, I ended up figuring out a configuration which suited my facial contours. In the beginning, I was trying to utilize the small ear-bud because I thought the design was a in-ear (i.e., in the ear canal) setup. I ended up going with the largest ear bud and positioning the the ear loop at a greater offset to my ear...which helps to keep the speech sensor closer to my skin/face.
With that said, I really do like this product and so do the people on the other end of the phone. I work in a high-noise environment and to my surprise it works and no one knows I'm inside a fabrication plant.

Better than original!
on May 17, 2008

I have owned various headsets - Plantronics 520, 925, Sennheiser, Jabra, Motorola, Jawbone etc. By far this is the best for the money. Currently only being sold at At&t - online and in-store. Original Jawbone noise canceling appears again in this unit, but the improvements are:
* Size. MUCH Smaller, lighter.
* Fit. MUCH better than the original. 4 leather (?) covered ear loops - way more comfortable.
* Ear buds. speaker can be seen through the ear bud - plus the comfort level WAY better.
* Design. Sleek.
Unit stays in place; wore it all day - no issues, NEVER moved while wearing it- unlike the original. Comfortable to wear ALL DAY. I work in various conditions - driving, A/C on, radio,wind - by far Jawbone is the best , outperforming all other units. Worth the $$. Picked one up at a B&M At&t -fast and easy - but they sell out quickly.Get it if you can find it!!

Jawbone 2 works perfectly when used as designed
on December 29, 2008

I have read all of the positive and negative reviews about this product. It seems the vast majority of negative complaints were due to the fact that the users were unable to place the earpiece IN the ear canal.
Folks, the earpiece is not a Q-Tip. It is designed to fit OVER the ear canal, not IN it. With this premise in mind, you simply need to find the appropriate earbud that fits over the ear canal and is snug. A combination of the proper ear hook, earbud and simple anatomy makes the Jawbone 2 fit, and work, like a charm.
You can also rotate the Jawbone until the white contact tip touches your skin. Just a few degrees in either direction does the trick. I have had my Jawbone for almost 2 months with nary a problem. I have yet to find any conditions that have caused problems hearing the person on the other end or them hearing me. I am using my jawbone 2 with the iPhone 3G and Pantech Ocean.
After using bluetooth headsets from Motorola, Jabra and Plantronics, I can honestly say the Jawbone 2 is years ahead of the competition.

Sounds great but ear piece breaks all the time
on June 18, 2008

I have gone through 4 ear pieces in less than one month. They are not nearly as durable as they should be. The wire breaks right at the base every time. Sound quality is fabulous and noise reduction claims are true.

I like the Jawbone but found when the earhook broke again and again, I couldn't get a replacement hook. Now it's useless.

Not worth the hype
on July 16, 2008

I've own Jawbone (original) for about 6-7 month now and love it. My only complain was look and over the ear hook. as i spend a lot of time on the phone it will become uncomfortable after a while.
So when Jawbone 2 came out i was very exited, i know that quality was excellent on the first version, so next one should be even better. and it's SMALLER. As you guessed, i went to the closest ATT store and got me one.
unfortunately it took me less then a day to call it quits and return it. Yes it's very small and comfy, but i could not get it to stay in my ear. Because of that, i could not clearly hear and people on the phone didn't get same quality as they do when i use original Jawbone.
bottom line - if you never had a good bluetooth, you can consider this one to be good. but if you can compare it to something that is truly great, you will not use Jawbone 2

Great product

I think this is a great product, fits really well and this does not fall off, even with the hanging ear piece off, it still stays on quit tight. THe noise cancellation piece works like a charm...I just cant figure how to put it on search for other phones to use.
