[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE Microwave has a lot of features that are easy to master. The quality is excellent and is definitely value priced. The convenience of it being a Counter Top Microwave makes it even more desirable. Great quality product at a price.

This microwave quit on us several times at crucial moments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We could have bought a couple of new microwaves for the cost of replacing fuses, magnitrons, etc. for the JE2160SF02, which was installed in October, 2005. BTW, it looks like new, as we are only two to use it, and we've taken good care of it. Our first service charge was after two years, when the evaporator fan needed to be replaced (2007); then in spring 2010 (fuse and mag. tube; same thing in November of 2010. December of 2010, another fuse blown; then unit dead in June, 2011. One more costly repair, and then in 2013, it went down for the last time. Our microwave apparently did not like vapor! So I had switched to boiling water on the stove -- but the boiling potatoes (with a vented lid) still put it out one last time. When we learned that the trim kit (equal in cost to all the electronics in the microwave itself) had to be replaced as well -- we decided we would try living without a microwave. If I could fit another brand microwave into the same trim kit, I would do that, because of course, with a wall unit, the oven matches, and is a prominent part of the kitchen. Switching trim kits, well, one thing leads to another! What a catch! Any suggestions for placing another microwave in the existing trim kit?

This microwave is the perfect size for my family. It is easy to use and has worked perfectly with no problems. Cooks evenly and is not noisy like some microwaves can be. I also like the way it looks, I chose the white because it went with my other appliances and it looks sleek and modern.

FAILED AFTER 4 YEARS

My model # was PEB2060SM2SS. HAD TO BUY THE SAME ONE AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS BU ILT IN AND I COULDN'T FIND ANOTHER ONE TO FIT. I HOPE THIS ONE LASTS LONGER THAN 4 YEARS.

We had the same microwave for 20 years and finally decided it was time for a new one. We choose the GE microwave and just love it! The reheat button always makes foods just right and I love the popcorn setting!! No problems so far and we have had it for over a year.

We bought this microwave two years ago to replace one the builder put in. Fortunately it fit into the mounting cubby with the same finish kit front plate. Unfortunately the turntable motor burned out in less than two years so today we got a replacement. Hoping this one lasts since they have discontinued this model and the new ones are 3/8 to 5/8 inch higher so they won't work with existing mounting kit.
