The sleek look and size of this model is sweet!!. It fits great under my island in a microwave cabinet. Great job GE.

Door latch release

The door latch release on this product is very frustrating. You have to press the door latch release anywhere from 2 to 4 times before to door opens. I called the appliance store to report that the product is defective and the sales agent said that that she has one and that is how the latch operates. Very poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice upgrade to stainless steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded an older microwave with the GE Profile. I installed myself with the SS trim kit to give it a built-in look over a paired GE Profile SS convection oven. The face of the unit is flush with a push button to open the door - no handles that stick out and get in the way. Easy to clean inside with rounded corners everywhere. Great value for an upgrade to stainless.

Poor Quality - Didn't Last

It was used in a second home, and one without children, so it didn't get used much. But it still didn't last very long.
Very disappointed in a GE Profile porduct.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent while it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third GE Profile Microwave in six years (similar model numbers). This matches all of our GE Profile Products in the kitchen. It works great, HOWEVER, it has to be replaced after two years as it dies out, even with fuses replaced. Too expensive to replace every 2yrs.

I have found other reviews to say the same thing. It is a great product when working. I have a wall oven and the wall mount for this microwave to match. Because of that, I bought another microwave after my first died after only 18 months. This time I bought a 5 year warranty with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've very happy with this microwave. Super easy to install, just take it out of the box & plug it in. One touch features makes using it very easy. It has a large interior & a 13x9 can be placed on the turntable with no problem. The sensor feature automatically adjusts the cooking time for different types & amounts of food. Overall it is a fantastic microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!
