Don't Buy

We bought this a few years ago (along with GE dishwasher, cooktop, double oven, and refrigerator). The microwave has not worked in months. We have had problems with all of our products. Would not recommend or buy GE again.

It did not. I'm now busy looking for ways to repair it it packed up as soon as its warranty expired.

Manufactured in 2013, bought in 2014 and just broke. It turns on but will not heat. Poor product. Sad thing is that I bought 2 of them so they match. Waiting for the other one to go out now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old microwave was 25 years old so I had much to learn about what was offered in today's market. After much research I decided on this product and have loved it! I have been amazed by its performance-it cooks and heats evenly with no hard spots in my meats and it pops just about every kernnal of popcorn without burning it. All with amazing speed. And it certainly is a plus that it a so stylish-I have the stainless-and is very affordable. I would recommend this microwave to anyone.

Does what it is supposed to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pops a perfect bag of popcorn. Potatoe setting actually cooks the potatoe the first time. This is a good looking, easy to clean product that does what it is supposed to!

Can't keep one working!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wished I could get away from this junk. I have purchased 3 of the microwaves over 4 years and getting ready to have to purchase another one. The space for the built-in area is such that I'm stuck buying it, because of the cut-out dimensions, or replace my kitchen cabinet. Never seems to work for more than 14 or 15 months. The refrigerator has to be repaired and parts replaced all the time and is currently in need of more repair service.
I'm so dissatisfied that I'm considering a cabinet maker before I spend the kind of money it takes to replace or repair them again!!!!!!!
Thought that GE made quality products but the Profile Microwave and Refrigerator that I have purchased; while in the process of replacing my appliances, is really making me considerer junking them all and starting over with a different brand.
Constant repairs!!!

Nice microwave

I have made so many items in this microwave. I love it. The controls are quick. Just one touch to have it cook. It is long but I wanted it to fit in a wall cabinet when we redo our kitchen. I just have to get the optional boarder that goes with it. I have the stainless steel one. I would recommend this to anyone who needs one that is quick to cook in half the time. Its very powerful to me. Thanks GE.
