Great features...poor execution!

We purchased this unit in 2007...broke and got another in 2008...broke again in 2008...again in 2010, then again in 2012, and each time it was replaced at no charge---but what a pain to deal with. Now, in 2015 in the middle of a cooking cycle it died again...we are done...a horrible product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

we purchased this microwave 2 years ago...and last night had the most scariest experience of our lives.. the lightbulb area caught on fire.. is this a known issue?

loud noise followed by smoke. Magnetron.. control board and transformer are bad.. piece of junk

Very disappointed

Bought the microwave when we built the house 3 years ago. For the past 6 months it has been acting erratic. It will sometimes start on its own, sometime the light and sound will be on but the timer won't work, and sometimes it will just stop running after a few seconds. Can't recommend a GE microwave after this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thought it would never die...

We have all GE Profile appliances in our kitchen....Microwave just died at 12 yrs old. Built in double oven, refrigerator and dishwasher are still going strong!!

Great Machine

Mine came with the house. 4 years old when we bought it. It’s been 9 years and it still looks and cooks like new. Wow. 13 years old!
