[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the processor as a Christmas gift. I was very disappointed to learn that it holds 7 cups but I can't get 4 cups of shredded carrots in it without it spilling out when you remove the bowl from the base. The center column is so low that everything falls out. The machine has good power and can do the job of shredding but it doesn't live up to the capacity claim. My children bought this model because the box stated the the capacity was 7 cups. You are informed in the manual that it will not hold that much, but it's not until you have it home. Too late then!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heavy duty motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is very stable on the counter top. Heavy motor has lots of power for chopping thick cuts of cooked meat such as ham salad. Very fine grade of can be achieved. Round cutting disc should work great for making coleslaw or making sauerkraut.

I am disappointed with the quality of the product.
A Couple weeks ago the plastic handle on my food processor bowl popped off and no longer works.
I have tried to contact customer service a couple times now to no avail. When I finally did get a lady she was very polite but the systems were down and she asked me to call back. I feel so disheartened as this food processor has been on my wish list for years now and I finally had gotten one!
For a women whose taking care of a family of five, it's very hard to always be on the phone with customer service.
I still have not called back and miss my food processor every day. :(
