[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I had it for three years it is not an appliance we use often. I can safely say we used it about 30 times before it just stoppedal working. It looks brand new too. We stored it in our kitchen on a shelf so not sure why it stopped but it was an expensive piece of equipment that I won't be purchasing again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used the FP for about 1 year, operates ok however the handle with the off/on interlock broke and we had to order another one for approx. 35$ and it also appears to be a little shaky (plastic part can't break easily) so we need to be careful with it.
Very disappointed that kitchen aid did not stand behind the product which in my opinion has a design deficiency. The base is very solid and the motor runs well, and far more robust than the associated bowl and handle, which if fails again I will not be replacing unless significant improvements are made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first food processor; until the past couple of years, I never felt the need, between my blender, my mixer and good knives. But more and more recipes seem to mention them and finally, I gave in. This is a great little machine. Without past purchases to compare it to, I still think its design and simplicity of use put it at the top of the list for small processors. It does a beautiful job--shreds so evenly!--and takes up just a small amount of space on the counter. Not noisy. Easy to clean. High marks all around!

I have started a healthier lifestyle and a lot of my recipes require food to be processed. I have used it to julienne sweet potatoes, zucchinis, carrots, shred all sorts of vegetables, to mix dough to the right consistency, make crusts using dates and nuts, and plenty more. This is an awesome tool, and I couldn't be happier!
