Broke in my Pocket

Had the phone for about two months until one day I sent an email put it in my pocket and pulled it out 3 hours later the the screen was broken. Turns out it was a hairline crack on the lower screen display(not the glass top), needless to say this voided the warranty and now I just have a broken phone that turns on but the screen is broken. Most frustrating thing about the entire phone is that I didn't drop it or anything to cause the screen to break.
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, poor music quality, broke in pocket
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad experience

My first phones google play crashed within my first month. So I was given a refurbished one. It wouldnt log onto any wifi that required a password and It went into a battery reset cycle after the Samsung update. Basically crashed. I was given another refurbished one. Within an hour of activation and after the Samsung update It would no longer make outgoing calls. It is basically done. I bought the phone from a big electronics chain. They refuse to give me a NEW one. Only another refurbished one. I love the phone but I am about to go back to my trusty yet boring Iphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

If you think the big screen is always going to make it more readable guess again

Apparently whoever is writing the apps thinks that the reason why everyone wants a bigger screen is to see more stuff the same size. Actually the value that i want from the big screen is seeing the same stuff LARGER. I see other reviewers bragging about it here also. One simple example is that when I rotate the email screen to make it read horizontally on prior android phones I can see more of the email that I am trying to read. With this phone it brings up a list of emails along side the email that i just rotated to read and i actually get to read LESS of the email than on my prior android phone in the rotated position. And there is no setting to fix this!! Also no adjustment to see more icons on the opening screen or make them bigger. Face recognition locking is a great idea that works about 1/3rd of the time. Nice phone with software designed for some other phone. Needs a software fix in order to get the value of the large screen....
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love this phone!

I never thought I would be without my Iphone, until I tried the Galaxy Note 2. It seems very large at first, but after using it for about 2 days you get used to it. The screen is amazing, it takes great pictures and the speakers are very good. I rarely use my laptop or Ipod since getting this phone. This is the best phone I have ever owned!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no cons
I would recommend this to a friend!

Screen cracks too easily

After only three weeks the screen cracked on a drop from my pocket while sitting on a toilet! I had a thinner case so to not add to ther overall size, but cracking from toilet height! Really!
I like the phone, but it must have a defect in the glass brittleness as this is not excessive.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, screen cracks too easily

Still getting used to it

I like the sound on this phone most of my Samsung products volume for speakers is not very good.
The wi-fi features seems to be stuck on scan and drains the battery.
The clock alarm is going on incorrectly.
The ringer starts on its own, no call coming in, no alarm, no way to turn it off. I have to shut off the phone to get it to turn off.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: expensive, clock alarm is not playing as requested, ring starts without any way to turn it off, wi-fi keeps scanning draining battery power, plastic back i hope it holds up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NOT DURABLE

After Christmas when I had an update for a new phone I purchased this Phone after owning all of the iphones 3 -4s and now realize that it was a huge mistake samsung boasts that this phone has incredible features and durability, BUT DON'T LISTEN this phone has horrible durability and after talking with samsung after my screen cracked from only putting it on my wooden table for hours I got very little help and in my opnion that is a far contrast from my reliable iphones, my iphone 4s even fell from a treestand that was 20 feet tall and didnt have a scratch on it.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hope the color can be better

The sreen is big, but the color is a little over saturated, espacially for the red and orange color
