Awesome Phablet!!!

This is easily the best phone I have had in a long, long time. Yes, it is a lot bigger than the others, but that is one of the things that makes it great! It is, indeed, the best of both worlds between tablets and phones.
The Note 2 is a great step up from the original Note, and it was a great device too! The S-pen improvements alone are worth the upgrade - not to mention the speed bump and design updates.
Pure awesomeness!

VZW 10.5g Galaxy Note II

It performs really well and has lots of bells and whistles; some that are locked down by VZW. The design of the phone is actually great, however VZW badged it and loaded half the 16g storage with unremarkable apps that can not be deleted. The S3 was able to come out of the VZW shop with 12g of 16g. The external SD card slot is really a cloud and not capable of utilizing any application data. You can not move any of the forced bloat there or add your own needed, highly rated apps. The battery is removable and a full charge will get you through a busy day. Screen is big and 720 HD is plenty for this size. Phone and camera are very capable. The larger handset is a plus to me as it feels more like a landline. Pairs easily to Bluetooth. This phone has excellent potential, and one only hopes that an update allows an uninstaller to rid itself of the bloated apps that are so useless to some. An update to allow the external SD card to hold application data and capabilities, rather than just storage that could have been found in the cloud..

Cons: Did not meet expectations, too many pre-installed apps, bloated with unnecessary software, can not uninstall preloaded apps and software, limited capability of external sd card, not 16g of storage

I came to the Note 2 from an Iphone 5. I have to tell you the Note 2 just blows the 5 out of the water. The Features I like best are screen size, the s pen, and the ability to multi task. This also just feels like a well made phone.

I'm Luvin' it!
After living with my Palm Pre Plus (WebOs was great.) for 2+ years I am enjoying my Note 2 with a screen almost 3 times larger. But that's not all, the N2 is fast, beautiful and innovative. Still learning all the features but I would recommend it to anyone interested in a smartphone.

Very good "phablet"

Good phone...a lot of people say its too big but unless u wear skinny jeans :) it fits just fine in back/front jean pocket...besides its definitely worth having the 5.8" HD screen in a phone, without having to own a tablet as well...the quad-core processor pretty much laughs in my face for trying "to keep it occupied"...the stylus that it comes with is just an awesome extra tool to preview videos, emails, make notes with, write texts, etc...i've had it for two months and i still don't know everything it can do...i'm waiting to wake up one morning and see it making me toast :) awesome :)

I'm not going to insult anyone's intelligence by comparing my Galaxy Note II to that other "i" device. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. I also will not waste anyone's time with a lengthy diatribe. The Galaxy Note II does everything I need, EVERYTHING, and then some. Period. Case closed. I just love this phone.

I needed to upgrade my phone at Verizon, and I was looking around to see what I could get. I saw the Samsung Galaxy Note II and I liked the big screen and the size of the phone. I like to watch videos on my phones and decided that the screen of this phone would be perfect to watch videos without straining my eyes. So I decided to buy this phone, and I am very glad I did. The screen is beautiful, and I am finding new things to do with my phone then I could ever imagine.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, nice large screen, excellent phone call quality
Cons: no earphones in the box like the galaxy siii
