Everything I always wanted in a phone

I've been waiting for this phone to come out for a while. I couldn't wait to get one. It's everything I hoped it would be. Speed, Responsiveness, Good Looks, Android 4.1, plenty of processor speed and RAM, I've been with another manufacturer for my last 4 android phones but this one won me over. I have heard some complaints about the size but, for me, that was one of the features I really wanted. I use my phone usually with a bluetooth headset so I'm not planning on holding it up to my head to talk very often. Bluetooth pairing was simple and easy. The larger screen gives me the room I've always wanted and I get a great phone with it. Voice quality is very clear and so far the battery is doing fine. I unplugged at 7:30am today and I am writing this review at 12:30 in the morning while streaming a movie and I still have 15% battery left after 18 hours..
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, 2 gb of ram, quad core processor, stylus
Cons: haven't found one yet
I would recommend this to a friend!

I decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Note II because thinner, lighter and longer with "the headphone jack on the bottom" was just not gonna cut it for me, plus I got tired of the same boring looking OS. I am very happy with my decision. The big screen is beautiful, and I'm still able to fit the whole phone in my front pocket. Battery life is awesome. I went on a full 45 hour (on power saving mode) with moderate internet, gaming, playing with the S-pen, moderate calling and really heavy texting throughout both days and the phone was at 4% before I had to plug it in.
The only big disappointment for me is Google Wallet does not work on the Verizon Galaxy Note II.
I highly recommend this device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: google wallet does not work, too many bloat-wares

Very fast, very smooth, awesome battery life (lasted 3 days on one charge for me with just phone calls and texts and some mms messages), even with every single user interface turned on, still lasted me a whole day. Chrome is very very fast on WiFi and LTE, and the screen is perfect for reading at regular arms length. I've done the Divx registration, but the first .mkv file that I loaded and tried to play gave me the message (only data file will be played), so I got video but no audio. Not complaining though because it may have been a coding issue with the original file. Love this phone/tablet (phablet as people are calling it now).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Best phone so far

I think, it would be an insult to call this device just a "smartphone" it does a lot more than that. this is the best phone ever build so far. I was unable to install some essential apps i wanted, price was a bit too much for 2 years commitment and hoping to see some upgrade on the OS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Android phone on the Market!

I've been waiting a long time for the Note II as I've been wanting something of this size and with this kind of performance. The quad-core proc with 2 gb of RAM screams and allows Android 4.1.1 to run anything you can throw at it. I personally use mine all the time not only as s phone, but the headunit in my car (streaming Slacker radio, Netflix, Navigation, etc), my personal e-reader (books, comics, tech documents), as a remote desktop tool (using Teamviewer) and as a handheld gaming device (using a gameklip and PS3 controller via SixAxis) and couldn't be happier! The screen is beautiful, with 4G, connectivity is very fast, and even though it's a MASSIVE device (for a phone) it is very slim and light (no problem fitting in a pants pocket). Battery life is also outstanding considering the raw horsepower/4G/Super AmoLED screen and regularly lasts 2 days on a charge. The S-pen seemed like a silly toy at first, but after learning all the tricks, it's incredibly cool. Multi-window apps are awesome and pretty handy. My only complaints would be the specialized MHL adapter (Now I have 4 different ones, ugh) and the lack of a proper car dock (don't believe what anyone tells you, the original Note's dock DOES NOT work. Overall very, very pleased and love this phone. Don't hesitate, just get it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast, good battery life, jellybean 4.1.1, multiwindow apps, s-pen is awesome
Cons: special mhl adapter required, no car dock, smart dock never available

Well all I can say is wow. I came from the original Motorola Atrix with the finger print scanner. This phone is beyond powerful and full of features. The screen is bright and sharp and the speed is something to behold. I've only had a couple of hiccups (crashes) which could be related to misbehaved applications. I've had the phone for 2 weeks. The size isn't a problem and now I spend most my time searching for ideal applications or using it for email and other messaging.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
