I bought this phone for its screen size. I have large hands, so a "phablet" suits me just fine. Finally, I can use a smart phone without looking around for my reading glasses.
I have had my note 2 since the 2nd week of Dec. 2012. The phone/tab works great. Just today an update was pushed out thru wifi that activated the multiview feature. Have not had time to work with multiview too much so can't say yea or nea. Overall the note 2 is a great phone, a good tablet, a real good e-reader, and a great toy. Have had loads of fun.
Fourth Android phone I've owned, first Samsung Android phone. I can't recall being this impressed and happy with a phone. The only thing I don't like is all the bloatware and the branded home button, which is Verizon's fault so I will not penalize Samsung in this review for it. This thing is ridiculously fast with nearly zero lag in almost everything I do. No bugs in the software for a change which is nice. Usually the manufacturers are pushing updates to fix stupid little things like wifi errors or battery drain bugs. I love all the gestures the phone has. My favorite is when you are texting someone and just want to call them, simply put the phone to your ear and it automatically calls. Samsung has made a very good impression with me on this device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast processor
Cons: bezel dents easily
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is about as close to perfection as I've seen. The size is great and for those who think its too big...you'll get used to it. Before you know it you will find yourself looking at others phones and laughing at them. Its so much faster and smoother than any other phone I've used and the battery lasts a long time. Can't forget the S Pen which I find myself using more and more each day. Multi window and popup video player and popup browser are all awesome for multitasking too!
My only pet peeve is that when typing or writing in landscape a lot of times the field I'm writing in moves where I can't see it so I have to go back to portrait to fill things out. I really hope they find a way to correct this in the future.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, huge screen, huge battery, s pen, multi window feature, popup browser, jelly bean (android 4.1), popup video player, quad core processor, can add up to 64gb sd card
Cons: difficult to see content typing in landscape, needs more onboard memory for apps, jelly bean doesn't allow moving apps to sd card
