If you hear/see them you'd think they cost 250

bought them for my brother as a present and oh god was i sorry to give them away once he fired them up, the sound is sharp and clear, sharp hi's, crisp mid, and very percussive bass. Once again all of my reviews for sony speakers say the same thing unbeatable for double the money and this is no exception. they make great front speakers and are actually about the same height as most lcd 32' tvs (coincidence?) look great nest to tv especially (in my opinion) with the covers off. and the power and percussiveness of the bass is unreal for such small speakers put the sub of the 500 all in the box surround system it was hooked up to to shame, shame, shame. buy it and enjoy
What's great about it: Another unbeatable sony sound deal
What's not so great: once you listen to them you may not be able to stop ( its happenend to me)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Crisp sound. I think I got what I paid for but would have liked a woofer that could handle more bass.
