Hard to keep clean

We bought this because a hard object fell on our old one and cracked the glass. Our previous unit had knobs vs being digitized and the surface was of the salt and pepper variety, but it was easy to keep clean. Our current unit is much fussier and we must rely on the cleaning cream much more often. It seems that the surface is not as hard as the old one. On the plus side, the digital controls are great and it seems to heat up faster than the old one.

Cooktop heats quickly, but the very best feature is ease of cleaning. Smooth service, no knobs to get in the way. Sleek and blends in well with counter top.

Very sleek, great features

We bought this cooktop to replace an older cooktop that come with our house. It looks very sleek, and a huge plus is grease can not drip down and short out the cooktop due to a lack of knobs. It is very easy to use and the control lock allows us to keep the cooktop off to keep our kids safe. 4.5 stars, as we still haven't reviewed all the features and we don't know how easy it will be to clean.

I bought this product 4 months ago. I really am unhappy with this product. I thought the control switch would make it a safe product. The control switch is near the front of the cook top and requires you to put pressure on the the control lock for several seconds. So far this task has been accomplished by my grandchildren and by my cats. I have had to tape a protective cover over the control switch to prevents burns or other injuries to my grandchildren and my pets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the smooth cook top!

Easy to cook with and regulate the temperature. I am kind of a messy cook and this cook top is so easy to clean. I use the cleaner after our dinner meal and it just takes a minute or two and the cook top is nice and clean and shining again. I had a cooktop like this in my previous home and loved it so that is why I wanted the same one in my new hom.
