Overall, this is an okay camera, but two months after the warranty expired, the lens cover snapped off and the cheap little parts tumbled to the floor.
Pros: easy to use, Nice features/settings, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life
Cons: Flimsy Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a VERY complicated camera to operate. Pictures have no connection to their use. Very difficult to download pictures.
Pros: good battery life
Cons: Missing features/settings, Poor Low-Light Performance, Difficult to use, Complicated controls/menu
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great camera, but...

This camera is quite compact with a lot of features and the picture quality is quite good. The problem - and it is a big one - is that it is anyone wishing to use many of it's features will find it quite difficult due to the complexity and sheer number of choices and icons. It feels like the engineers came up with all these cool features (which only an engineer could figure out) and there was not field testing with average users, who I am sure would have told them that this is a complex camera to operate beyond the basics. The bottom line: you will get a lot out of it if you are willing to have the time and patience to learn about it's operation, but not the best choice if you want a more-basic choice and are a basic point-and-shoot user.
Pros: good battery life, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Difficult to use, Complicated controls/menu
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cannon PowerShot SD750

My husband bought this camera for my birthday because I wanted a small camera that I could carry everywhere with me. My daughter and her photographer friend had this style camera so I knew it was a good choice. I am very happy with my camera. I carry it in my vehicle whenever I leave the house. You never know when you will see something you want to take a picture of. I always like to keep it handy no matter where I am.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's Alrighty

Alrighty, so I've had this camera for like a year or two now. It's okay, not the best not the worst, just average.
One thing I like about it, is the huge display screen, the good video quality, and how it takes photos outdoors. I don't like the poor indoor quality and the camera gets easily scratched, mine is so beat up. But for X-mas I'm going to get the SD780 as a replacement and I'm giving mine to my mother.
