I love the size and being able to wash a quilt but the dark cloths always need to be rinsed again. Even when I use half the amount of soap there is still soap let on the clothes. There needs to be more water used for rinsing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased for new home after years of using a front end loader, Love It!! Awesome easy to use features, huge wash tub with light, clothes come out cleaner and smell wonderful.

Bought the matching dryer prior to this out of necessity, was so impressed, purchased the washer to couple them up even though I still had a functioning older washer, couldn't be more happier with the performance and overall look, its always nice to have something that takes care of business and also looks and functions at the highest levels. This is my first G.E Washer and Dryer and they are Awesome!

Was sick of stinky front loader and mine broke.

Love where I bought it from, they recommented this one, I looked it up, read reviews, bought sight unseen. Loved how it looked and the features. Could not get over how large the drum is. But, I don't think it was meant to fill the drum completely up with clothes. I put a regular load in and it washed great. I later filled up the drum with clothes and it did not get them cleaned and the borax I put in did not wash out. I broke the load down and rewashed with the extra fill and it did fine. I love the light in the drum, how quiet it spins, there is some noise but nothing like my old washer. One draw back, I am 5 ft and it is quite a stretch to reach in and remove the clothes after a wash.
