Mixed feelings

This washer has some great features going for it: large window in the lid, large capacity, stainless tub. The spin does reduce dryer time. The drawbacks are the length of the wash cycles and the spin speeds. All the wash cycles except Speedwash take a very long time to complete but my chief complaint is that the Normal/Light Colors setting, which is the one I wish to use most often, is supposed to provide normal wash and medium speed spin. However my machine goes to high spin and will not allow me to use medium spin on this setting. If I try to adjust, it will skip from low to high totally bypassing medium. The medium spin is fast enough for all types of laundry. The high spin causes the machine to move across the floor and seems way too harsh for fabrics in a normal wash load.

I have had machine for a week. Absolutely love it quiet, efficient. I am so pleased. Love the 5.1 capacity. Can wash large comforter easily

Exceeds expectations, and then some!

We replaced our Whirlpool with this incredibly sleek and efficient GE model. We are ecstatic with its look and performance! It is SO much quieter than our other washer and its capacity surpasses our expectations. We used to sit in our living room and think a jet engine had started along with the spin-cycle, however, with this product we find ourselves checking that it is even running it's so quiet! Plus, I finish the laundry ten-times quicker than before with it's easy settings and large drum. We also love the different settings and the display screen is sleek and modern. It seriously makes doing the wash more enjoyable than any other washer I've ever owned! Even my husband wants to start the loads (wow!) The only down side is that we have to modify our shelf above the washer, but that is not the washer's fault, so we still love it. As soon as we can save up, we will get the dryer without a doubt.

I've only had the washer for a few days but have done several loads and used several different cycles/options. I'm impressed with the ease of use and efficiency of the machine. It is quiet, and so far getting everything clean. My only complaint, if any, would be that I cannot hear the end of cycle signal when I'm in other areas of the house, but that's not really a problem. I might try to hook it up to wifi connect in the future.
