We purchased this because I was looking for a Energy Efficient machine but didn't want a front load. I love it! Features are amazing from the LED lighted basket, clear lid (Yes, I have snuck in to watch it at work) to the amazing display! There are so many options for wash cycles it's wonderful. My only criticism is that it's a little loud on the spin cycle, but we have a separate laundry room, so it's not a deal breaker. Thanks GE!!

Bought this a month ago for our new home and it handle very large amounts of laundry. I only rated it good because it shake a lot when spinning.

I BOUGHT THISWASHER A MONTH AGO AND REALLY LOVE IT. I REALLY LIKE THE FLOW THRU FEATURES AND THE SIZE OF THE TUB AND HOW LITTLE WATER IS USES AND COLORS SEEM MUCH BRIGHT

We love our new clothes washer! We have 5 in our house (4 guys and a gal). We all work hard and play hard so having our clothes ready when we are is a huge plus. This could not happen without the 5.1 capacity, all the different settings, the lessened amount of time spent loading and unloading clothes, and less time drying has been a huge positive! The washer is quite and we love this because some work at night while others work during the day. The soft close lid is much quieter than a lid slamming down on older models. We had a GE Profile with a smaller capacity for 8 years and we just killed it because of the amount of laundry we do. We enjoy using less energy, less cleaning and softening products, and less water. Our clothes are cleaner than using other machines. To all those who don't think your clothes are cleaner; DO NOT overload the washer because common sense shows less is better. :)

I had a front loader before and missed a top loader so much and the unit is above and beyond my expectations! It's larger than large and so nice to just dump a whole laundry basket into it. Highly recommend!

Love this washer, BIG TUB, I love that I can wash my queen size quilts at home.
If you are very petite you might have to have a small stool to stand on to actually be able to reach down into the bottom of the washer tub. Seems to be doing a great job of cleaning and is pretty quite as well. I have the door removed from my laundry room. If you want a big washer but to not have room to buy large front loading washer and dryers for your laundry room this will do the trick. Really, after having it for about 3 weeks I can't think why anyone would really need anything bigger in size. I also like the glass top, the lighting in the tub and the water fall water feed. The washer and dryer set can communicate with each other (Clean Speak), really not necessary, but if you want that then remember to order the connection cable for the set.
