[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two SMART CODE 909 locks in November 2017, I installed one on front door one on side door,on front door I had to replace batteries every 3-4 weeks side door 0 times(5-20-18).Kwikset was very kind/courteous to replace front lock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My second unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset replaced my lock installed less than a year ago, had a meltdown internally on electronics side. Lock works well but concerned it may do a meltdown again in the future.

Great deadbolt with auto lock.

I forgot to lock the door for the last time. The auto lock feature is great. I installed two on my doors. Fairly easy set-up. Just make sure that you follow the steps carefully. I needed a different latch for one door. It was sent free and when I needed help to readjust the lock the service rep was excellent. If you get stuck just call.

Lock will not set up

I purchased this lock several weeks ago. I followed the installation instructions but the lock always got "hung up" in the handing process. I returned the lock and replaced it with another Kwikset 909. Again, the same problem.
Thinking that this particular smartlock was much smarter than I, I called in a locksmith with 43 years of experience. The both of us spent over an hour trying to get the lock to work to no avail. At this point I am completely disgusted with Kwikset smartlocks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the unit about a year. I just replaced batteries because of time. After replacing the batteries, the unit did not work. Called Teck support, they sent a new one. Again works great. Thanks, it is a great system.
