[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock has never let me down. It's smooth action and corrosion free.a couple of thing could make it better. It has a green battery light that's always flashing and the motor is pretty loud. Over all its forgivable.

Great to tranfer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this look, it is easy, has two settings so I can give one to the cleaners and have one for myself, the combination is easy to change, and when I got into a new home I could easy take it with me, easy to install and I feel save, better than having a traditional look.

Kids Locked Out After School!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product a year ago when my family and I moved into our new home. I was very impressed with the ease of installation and excited about the ease of use for the kids. However, over the past few months I have had to change the batteries several times. More disturbing, my children were locked out of the house this week after returning home from school, because the lock did not function properly -- appearing to be completely dead. However, after several hours away from the house conducting afterschool activities the lock began to work again.
I replaced the old batteries today with new, fresh ones, but the indicator light continues to flash red and the lock functions sluggishly. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I am seriously considering discarding this lock and reverting to an old-fashioned deadbolt and key.
The only reason I did not give this product a 1-star is because it did function as advertised for several months and it was a simple installation. I do not recommend this product especially if you have children that depend on accessing the home without an adult.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great all around lock

Always Issues with Iris

This is my second lock of this type. After struggling with it staying connected to Iris, I finally got a good support tech. They sent me a new one. I still struggle with it staying connected to Iris. It's not the Iris system, it's the device. Several times I've had to give the code to my housekeeper as the connection to Iris is unreliable and I cannot unlock it or "buzz" anyone in reliably. I will replace it at some point but the cost is attention getting. I will go with another Iris compatible vendor when I've had enough. Other than that it functions well with the push button access but the unreliable connectivity is annoying and concerning. I.E., did the lock "lock" when I activated the alarm. One never knows if it isn't connected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now installed 6 909 deadbolt units and 1 911 lever. I love the fact that we do not need to have a key when we leave. The smart key also allows us to key both houses the same and have 1 key that works for both homes. I did experience a couple of challenges, but calls to the help line resulted in quick resolution. The only negative comment I could make is that the help line is very busy and wait times are longer that I would like.
But I would like to end by saying that you make a great product at a very reasonable price..The Fact that I can install an electronic lock that has the smart key benefits makes it in my opinion the best value in the field.
