Great deadbolt features and reliability!

We purchased our smart deadbolt on a trip last fall. It has been 100% reliable for both us and our pet sitter. We would love to use the auto locking feature but, having a dog, we would continually be unlocking. We purchased the gold coloured unit and find that it looks elegant and matches our lever handset. The smart deadbolt was a breeze to install and easy!! to set up. I really appreciate the ease of access to the settings and batteries via the large sliding inside face. It's a good feeling to press the lock button and walk away, hearing the "locked beep", not to mention having the flashing red or green (locked/unlocked) light seen from within. I think friends are getting into it -- a recent visitor exited ... and locked himself out!

Easy to install

I am so happy with this lock, I don't have to worry about myself or my kids having,loosing, or forgetting a key. Very easy to use and just as easy to install.

We have had the kwikset for a couple of months and it was easy to put in and has worked fantastic. Its nice to lock and unlock the door without looking for keys.

KWIKSET - THE GOLD STANDARD

I have equipped two homes in the recent past with Kwikset Smart Key hardware. Once, I locked myself out and had to get a locksmith. He took one look at the deadbolt and lever and groaned! He had to physically destroy the lock set to gain entry. These are unbeatable as the best security, affordable hardware on the market, and the Smartkey system is tops for convenience as well!

Convenient, safe, simple to use

Have not removed my key from the billfold hide since the lock was installed. One button lock is very convenient. When I was wheeled out on a gurney to the ambulance last month I asked a policeman to push the button as we exited and the comfort came as I heard the deadbolt motor closed behind us. Have severe arthritis and keys are not friendly, push buttons are simple to use.

Purchased this because a family member has one and found it convenient. We like it so much we purchased two more. One for another door and one for our neighbor who took our word for it. Great convenient way to get in and out of the house.

Love ability to set multiple codes! One for trusted maid service, a temporary code for short-term house guests, another for a handyman. Very convenient and easy to change or disable codes.
