I L-O-V-E this toothbrush!! :-) :-) I needed a replacement to my many-years-old competitor brand electric toothbrush, which no longer wanted to hold an electric charge :-(
One of my local stores was having a sale, plus I had a lot of store points to use towards a purchase. I diligently checked out the different sale models in person, and researched them online through my phone, while I was in the store. This toothbrush really seemed to be the best one, so I bought it.
I have been pleasantly surprised by this brush!!! :-) :-) :-) I thought that the pressure-sensing feature would be good; it's excellent!! Whenever I accidentally apply too much pressure to my gums with the brush, the brush signals me (and stops for a sec.).
I have a muscle disease; this brush really saves my arm muscles :-) I don't have to do any "brushing" motion with my arm/wrist/hand. I just slowly glide the brush over the areas which need cleaning; the brush does all of the work for me :-)
After brushing my teeth, they seriously feel like I've just had them professionally cleaned :-) :-) :-) The UV sanitizer is great, too, for piece of mind :-)
Two caveats, though, to be aware of when using this brush: when applying toothpaste to the brush head, one needs to "smoosh" the toothpaste into the bristles a bit, or else the sonic (vibrating) action once turned on makes the toothpaste fall off of the brush; and, if one is not used to keeping their mouth closed while brushing, a good time to start is while using this brush ;-) Otherwise, tiny droplets of toothpaste and saliva get spread in front of one's mouth, to a surpising distance ;-P
Pros: easy to use, good for those of us with a muscle disease, cleans extremely well, the pressure sensing lets one avoid gum owies
Cons: must "smoosh" toothpaste into the bristles, should keep mouth closed while brushing
I especially love the carrying case that came with this package. Great to bring to the cottage. Although it can take a few days to charge, once charged it is good to go for over two weeks
Pros: stays charged for a long time, love the ultraviolet sanitizer
Cons: no mention anywhere as to why the two brush heads
I would recommend this to a friend!

Within the last two years I have had three of these machines go haywire on me. First one simply died after 10 months. Dealing with Sonicare to replace it was like pulling teeth. Within six months that one died. Sonicare refused to replace it due to already being a replacement. I should have learned my lesson. BUT! I had just bought a new pack of diamond head brushes and used one so I wasn't going to lose that money. Order the last brush. Mistake. It works fine and within the last two months if I attempt to charge it prior to fully dying it just turns on and off while on the stand. After fully discharging and hopefully charging the settings go to the quick clean and I have to fight with it by placing it back on the stand to possibly get it to full clean.
Save your money. Buy anything else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My family used this brush for about 6 months and then the battery would no longer charge. You cannot replace the battery (apparently you can buy a replacement but it needs to be soldered).
It does a great job of cleaning but the poor battery and inability to get a new rechargeable battery makes it a 2 star review.
This is the second brush I have purchased. The first one lasted probably ten years. I used it twice a day. I don't know too many products that are so well designed and manufactured. Terrific product. So many bells and whistles too! Nice!!
Product has met, and in some instances, surpassed my expectations. My teeth and gums look and feel healthier and the brush is comfortable and rewarding to use.
