great brush , no support for parts ..ie uv bulb

works great in brushing, all setting work great, nice brushes , nice travle bag.. the big issue is the uv sanitizing bulb goes out in under a year and then when you score Phillips parts site, no uv bulb is to be found anywhere.. nor is there even a part # so you could try to find it elsewhere.. so now the main feature (sanitizing) is out the window...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the toothbrush itself, my only complaint is that the battery in the toothbrush doesn't seem to have a long life, nor does the charger stand. I've had to buy at least two whole new units in the past year because either the brush battery completely died (and couldn't be charged, or wouldn't keep a charge long enough to brush your teeth#, or the charger died. I wish you could just order a replacement at a reasonable cost #NOT more than the price of a whole new unit!)
Pros: really works well to fight cavities
Cons: battery doesn't last, price, can't find replacement parts at a reasonable fee

The smaller toothbrush head seems to get betweem my teeth better tan the last toothbruch I had.

I am truly not happy with how slippery the handle its even ur trying to brush. The toothbrush ends up falling out of my hands. i hada previous sonicare just like this one and there was a grip on the handle! I love the brush but HATE the handle.
Cons: no grip on the handle

I LOVE that this toothbrush is better than about any other item like it on the market. However, the fact that its ridiculously expensive and died after 14 months is unacceptable. I am torn between buying a new one just like it because I love it so much, or just buying a very less expensive model by another brand.
When it works, its amazing! It was recommended by my dentist, and I continued to recommend to friends. I won't be doing that anymore... much too pricey for the quality behind it.
Pros: clean teeth, nice travel case
Cons: died after 14 months.

I have this since Christmas. Mine went "crazy" in March. The motor stopped during use and restarted again. It also vibrated/started up when I was done using it. It won't charge either. I have never used the UV Sanitizer. I also found it a bit complicated to understand the different modes.
I intend to take it back my retailer. They will give me my money back.
I had one of their cheap models that lasted over ten years. I don't like this one and will not buy it again.

I had used my old electric toothbrush for over 10 years and decided it was time to get a new one. My dentist recommended a Phillips Sonicare. I bought the Sonicare Platinum toothbrush several weeks ago. The adjustable intensity feature was a great way to introduce myself to a totally unique in-home brushing experience. I absolutely love this toothbrush. I can actually see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth.
I would recommend this to a friend!
