Can't Live Without This!

I've used Sonicare Sonic toothbrushes for years and love how clean my teeth feel! In fact, I won't use a regular toothbrush anymore! After using this brush, I feel like I just had my teeth cleaned at dentist. I get raves from my dental hygienist! Love that I can sterilize the brush
after every use & store it away from bathroom bacteria!

Great for your oral health

I have been using Sonicare for over 20 years. Compared to a manual toothbrush, it makes it so much easier to stay in a routine, keeps time, and reduces the amount of strokes one must make.
If it wasn't for Sonicare, I would have had many more dentist visits and that can be costly.
Thank you Sonicare for improving my overall oral hygiene.

I purchased this product along with the air flosser (I'll leave a separate review for that) 4 years ago. The brushing modes are very convenient as I needed to focus on getting my gums back healthy with the gum care mode and also longed for whiter teeth with the whitening mode. My teeth are defintely much whiter.
I also noticed an improvement in my gums as bleeding was drastically reduced, but not completely which happened to be more on me than the device. I discovered:
(1.) I was overbrushing and irritating my gums
(2.) My technique was incorrect. Which my dentist told me to make circles on each tooth individually when I purchased it in the office. Again this was four years ago so maybe the best technique hadn't been studied enough yet.
(3.) The correct way is to actually hold the brush at a 45 degree angle and gently glide it across the gumline. Then flick the brush from root to tip.

Now this is where the product continues to perform. It pulses after 30 seconds to let you know to move on to a different section of your mouth and has varying speed controls. Afterwards you can place the brush head in the UV sanitizer. The brush comes with a head cover for when its on the bathroom counter and a travel case.
I wish I'd known I was using it incorrectly much sooner for my oral health. And I wish there was a way to directly order the uv Sanitizer alone as I need a new bulb and can't find a compatible one. :/ I've considered purchasing a new system as the brushes have really improved since I got my first one.

Awesome Electric Toothbrush!

I love using the Sonicare FlexCare Platinum electric toothbrush! Brushing my teeth isn't the same anymore without using my Sonicare electric toothbrush. It gives my teeth and mouth a clean refreshed feel that I can't get with a manual toothbrush. I like how it has a subtle way of telling you that you're brushing too hard and how you can choose the intensity of the brushing and the different modes.
Even though I love this electric toothbrush, it has it's downsides too. When I'm charging the toothbrush, the battery indicator lights that flash/light up when charging are very difficult to see and are very dim. Also, dried up toothpaste and other gunk can build up in the space/crevice between the toothbrush head and the toothbrush handle where the toothbrush head attaches if you don't remove the toothbrush head to clean the spaces in between.
Other than that, I use it twice every day and the experience of brushing my teeth is more pleasant with this product.

Best Habit

I brought this toothbrush to upgrade from an older model of the same brand.
You really get that fresh from the dentist feel after brushing with this toothbrush. This set came with two brush handles, two brush diamond clean brush heads, a charger, a charger with brush sanitizer and two travel cases. A huge package deal! I could not be happier.
There are several settings for the toothbrush: clean, white, massage, go clean, and max clean. I usually go for the max clean which is a 3 minute cycle but there are shorter cycles if you are in a hurry. Not that 3 minutes is that much time. The brush vibrates differently for the different cycles. I have really noticed a difference in my visits to the dentist and overall tooth and gum health since I began using a sonic care toothbrush. The toothbrush holds the charge for quite a while before you have to charge it again and then I usually just charge it overnight and it is ready to go in the morning.

I love the new sanitizer feature on this model. You just pop the brush head into the sanitizer, hit the button and 10 minutes later it is germ free. Yay. The travel cases are great too. I always carry my sonicare when I travel. The case is great and keeps everything clean. The toothbrush and head fit into spaces that are specifically designed for them and they stay put. I mean there really is nothing negative to say about this toothbrush. Get it. Clean your teeth. You will love it!
