This oven has great features that make it easy to use. The only problem I have had is that it is hard to read the settings at night.

Overall, I recommend this microwave. Looks nice, easy to use, easy to clean, has everything I want (and as with almost all microwaves, far more than I really care about).
The first unit had a defective "thermistor" (or something) that caused it to either beep and go into error mode, or to spontaneously turn on the child lock.
LG support was easy to reach and helpful; the process is to buy another microwave and submit the original receipt/labels for reimbursement. Pretty easy, all things considered.
The second unit is working fine so far...
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been through a lot of microwaves and this one only lasted 6 months and quit

My daughter bought me this for my birthday as our other was getting old. Easy to use. Cleans very easy. I have had very good success with LG products. Would recommend.

Heats Food Up Really Fast!

I bought this microwave for our apartment that my son, a friend of ours & myself have moved into & it heats food up really fast. The inside is very easy to clean & is a perfect size for our minimum counter space apartment... it's up on top of the refrigerator!!!

glass is EXTREMELY HIGHLY REFLECTIVE

typical 1200 watt microwave. inside is WAY too dark,, the light inside is very dim as a result. the front glass is WAY HIGHLY REFLECTIVE, LIKE A MIRROR. BIG DRAWBACK. when I purchased I didn't think that it would be that bad, but it was. should have returned it. display is hard to see unless you are at a certain angle to view.
LG - you could have done a much better job. Did you not notice these drawbacks???
SORRY I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke in 1 month

I purchased on 2/28 and am writing this on 4/1. The unit was used maybe 10 times for frozen dinners or to warm up a piece of pizza. During the last use, I heard a loud buzz and then it shut off. It no longer functions. Went back to the store and they said, "Sorry, we only offer 30 day warranty".
I will not buy this product again, despite the salesman saying, "I have never had a problem before."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
